Hi everyone,
I've had loads of habbo fansites / Forums and I'm wondering the best way to get one popular with a decent Homepage and how to get some dedicated members.

If anyone has any advice please help :)

Thanks,
Mike

Do a lot of competitions with decent prizes to target the Habbos. Do something different that a different fansite haven't got. Make the main site/forum welcoming warm and a nice place to visit. Like not one that's always uses dark colours and dull boring colours. I tend to like sites that are unique and skins/themes that I like to see. Use a unique layout, what's the point of using the same one as someone else? Also don't put a lot of things on the homepage, keep it simple and a fair amout of content, not too much or too little. Talk to the members often, treat them with respect and they will hopefully visit your site/forum.

Good luck if you're trying to make a fansite / forum.

I have to completely disagree with you. Other than the fact of being unique and creative and using attractive things.

You're aiming for wanting to think of something so devious as to lure other fansite viewers in. Take ordinary small things in other fansites and completely turn them around to not only be your own, but to stand out and be known for its uniqueness. Don't set up anything on your fansite ordinarily, that's why most people say all these fansites are always the same. Fansite owners go to each other and steal ideas and that's the #1 nono.

Most importantly maintain a decent amount of activeness throughout every aspect of your fansite. Don't focus on your radio, nor your news. Do what ever you can to assure the equal amount of activeness. Not everyone adores a broadcast, nor updates about anything. It all varies and you have to provide for every user to maintain a successful amount of users.

Good luck mate.
