Kk first off i'm not trying to cause trouble before the usual people think that's why im making the thread.
Since reading kates thread about how it dosn't fit with the layout i agree with the roller bit the lights look great but the roller just don't go?
http://uploadpicz.com/images/4PW8UR6.png
If it has to be there change the colour of the rollers, but i don't see why the rollers are needed? If staff need to brb for more than 15 minutes then they are just taking up space and aint really needed there so i don't get them.
So yeah just thought i would say since i can't post in Kate's thread cause its in complaints.
There used to be 2 brb rollers for staff before and it wasn't whinged about then, so I don't see why it's being complained about now.
It's also good for me to keep an eye on staff while checking the forum at the same time without being auto kicked. I don't see what other colour roller would go with the executive floor other than black, but you can suggest some if you like? :P
I always liked the feature of BRB rollers, made the room look a bit less plain. The staff said they felt the staff space was a bit cramped so we expanded it a bit more and they've had a positive response to the changes.

This is just my suggestion and you don't have to listen, how about something else other than rollers for the staff to go on when they are on brb seeing as there isn't a rollers colour that matches the room?

The reason we use rollers is so that the chair moves, meaning staff don't get auto kicked lol :P I think chairs would look better but they wouldn't prevent the kicking.

The reason no one complained when there was 2 brb rollers is because the staff space was much bigger and the desk looks alot nicer when nvr owned it, i think sammeth should try and get some donations and try make it like nvr ad it and when it comes to hoildays (summer, christmas, halloween, etc) add a few seasonals.

If you're watching staff on habbo that means you're looking on it, i see no harm in clicking 1 spot every 14 minutes so you don't get autokicked.
As rollers before, they suited the room and didn't look out of place, like in here you have a pillow, i don't see how that fits with the exective stuff...
Take for example laurences room (8freak8 easter one) his roller has dino, dino goes with the other eggs/bunnys etc in the room..
I also agree with the fact if staff are going afk for 15 mins they can sit like anyone else and get autokicked or leave the room... don't see the need of the rollers
i also hate the egg lights whatever their called makes that bit look ugly.

Yeah Im trying to recreate the old desk because I secretly love it from before, used to feel all cosy with the petals, lodge, maj's, T sofas and HCs :P
Skot, staff are entitle to brb for their tea or something every once in a while. Sitting on rollers lets them do that without having to reload the room and it also shows people that they aren't there whereas if they were sat down in the main room people might think they're ignoring them, it's happened before.

But if they were in an area which is specifically for staff on BRB then people wouldn't think they were being ignored, even people who are new to the room because other people in there would know that they were on BRB.
I think reloading the room isn't that much trouble for the room to match better, and look better to guests etc.

LOL, why dont you ask nvr or sammeth. to make a thread asking for donations and ask one of them to open a room for people to put them in, because if i remember mad did that when there was furni needed for somthing?

The Rollers are useful and should stay IMO, but change the pillow to something else like an executive chair.

I think the lights look good, but i really don't think the "brb chair" is necessary, if you have the "brb chair" i think it might make staff inactive.

There has always been a brb chair and it has never made more staff be inactive :S

Light Blue/silver rollers would go much better if it was needed.

We always had that dino in HxHD when 8F8 owned it. It was like the trademark feature of the desk, whatever theme the layout was, laurence insisted on having that dino. We even had it in the christmas layout.

It's mainly for Leah to keep an eye on staff without the worry of being autokicked.

Because it's nice as a manager to be able to keep an eye on goings on in the desk, like, literally flick the screen whilst you're doing the lots of other work you have to do.
Because it dosn't fit with the desk.
Light Blue/silver rollers would go much better if it was needed.
Good colour suggestions, blue or silver would go with the walls.

nvrspk still has the old desk layout, but we don't want to go back to it as it was quite flawed, especially for the nature of the desk now which is way more social.

I understand why it is there but if the desk is supposed to be different and is supposed to more of a social room and staff are now room moderators who 'can help if they are asked' then surley by adding the rollers back in and making the staff area slightly bigger we are taking a step back towards the room being a desk?
(not that I'm moaning I preferred it as a desk :P)
Sammeth.

Its still very much a desk, its just a lot more sociable hence the larger areas for the guests and the bigger space for them to do what they want to do, dance with each other and what have you. I wouldn't say they were just room moderators as they do help when help is needed. There isn't really any need for a huge desk staff area as it limits what the guests can do and the demand for help isn't as large as it once was.
The rollers have been taken out after an agreement with HxHD Management though. :)

I think now the rollers have been moved, the desk looks better, the lamps along the sofas spice it up a bit and the bit bigger staff area gives us a bit more space and I like the sere lamps
So all good :)

I think that maybe the staff area should be extended out one square to accommodate the rollers and also so you dont loose a chair behind the desk and it wont make much of a difference in the desk.
About the pillow, I think it should be a silver pillow, nothing wrong with it then.
And the hanging area lights are ok, I dont think that the other one really goes with the room + the other day they were red and red and blue dont really get along with each other so they should be kept white imo.
+ About Kates complaint and sams reply saying ''If it were up to me it would still be the same, the lights in between the sofas are nice though I would keep that, but the desk area I would rather it have remained the same :P Not my choice though.''
when I was HxHD manager and for a very long time I have always thought that anything to do with the room is down to the AGM room owner or the GM and not the HxHD Manager, several managers have been told off by nvrspk in the past for moving furniture around.

I guess it depends on the AGM nvr had what I like to call the 'my room my mess policy' where it was his room to mess up not the managers :P

Usually thats the case but I like to let Leaahh. have as much input as possible (and I have to when Im getting ganged up on :P!) but we've reached this agreement now which is all good :)!

I wish!! But the exec does look good too, maybe in a few months we could change it back if enough people want it. :)

That's what I've always thought, we just like to presearve history chainy :P

I got annoyed with managers that tried to redesign things that were blatantly done or managers who thought they were allowed to trash :P
One thing was I made a very conscious decision to eliminate the brb rollers (so not they haven't always been there) because I felt that if they were going to be gone for 15 minutes there wasn't much point them being in the room. If you want the extra person, put a dog in the room and be done with it :P
So I'm very glad to see that the rollers are being taken out ;)
