my group has picked "entertainment/scene" as the industry for our Integrated Events Project. we chose "clubbing" as our event coz our target group is YP (young people). so i need help:
you know when you go clubbing, theres this light which makes anything white (your teeth, tshirt....) glow in the dark? what is it called?
i need a theme for this clubbing scene im planning for my project. something unique please.
any other suggestions?
thank you!

You could do a Hollywood theme where people dress up as their favourite film stars.
A club I go to did a competition recently called Club Idol where people sang/danced etc on a stage in front of the dance floor.
And yeah it's called a UV Light :)

Has clearly been ignored by:

Giving the place itself a theme rather than a dressup option may be easier and more effective (although of course you could always have fancy dress as part of it). Something like an underwater themed club with plenty of aquatical designs and features could work well within a UV environment, and a lot of that sort of thing can be done really cheap. Gives the actual club something different to offer rather than just the event itself that way, and like I say you can always have dressup with it if that's still something you want to do. "Beach party" style where you go in swimming gear perhaps :P

do you think masquerade would be interesting?
we'll be selling tickets and giving out masks as "entry passes" and they can design the mask. it'll be sortof like a competition thingy going on. or is that a bad idea?
go in swimming gears? the boys would definitely like that but i doubt my adviser will approve. we're coming up with a proposal and hoping that we can use the school dance studio as itll cut lots of expenses coz the school has all the stuff that we need like speakers and Dj stuff and all that.

Lol groovy. It was a good event when it was on at the club I go to. I guess you'd have to offer a prize to the winner though!
