[IDEA] Rare Value Competition

Hey,

I think the Rare Values Department should hold a competition based on Rares each week.

Basically the competition would be held for forum members and the prize would be VIP!

The competition would have an answer which you send to an account only the RV Manager and Management know the password to. Lets say the Forum Account was "RVCompetition". The question would be posted each Sunday in the 'Community Announcements' forum. In the same thread the previous weeks winner would be posted, announcing how much VIP they won!

Heres an example:



Habbox Rare Values impacts the Habbo trading system hugely. Our Rare Values are what made us so successful to this date, so we have decided to give you the chance, to win some VIP - which is no longer sold - by showing us your knowledge about Rare Values!

Each week we will ask you three questions, based on Rare Values. You then need to send the answers to RVCompetitions . If you get all three right, you will be given a number, which will then be entered into a 'Random Number' generator draw! The winner will receive VIP as a prize.

This weeks questions are listed below:


What was the first rare EVER released on habbo.co.uk?
What is the latest collectable to be released?
What three rare's are part of Ione's Gifts?
Once you have answered please send your answers to RVCompetitions .


Congratulations to last weeks winner: N/A
He/She has won himself: 3 months of VIP!

Here is why I think this should be placed:


VIP is no longer sold, so it would be a way to give it out.
Habbox's Rare Values made habbox what it is today.
It would help find people that understand the Rare Values 'market'.

This would be a good way for the RV dept to give away the VIP they get allocated each month.

Yeh i based the idea, as a reason for more people to get VIP, and also since habbox is based on its Values, yet the public don't get a chance to show their knowledge of them.

I was also thinking it could maybe be done, for every 20 people that enter (right or wrong) and extra month of VIP could be added

As I say it is just an idea, and the example is called an example for a reason xD

Obviously whatever the prize is I do not know, but if someone is constantly geting thnigs right - whatever the question - it could even help find future Rare Value Reporters!

I think one month of VIP for 3 winners rather than 3 months for a single winner would be a better way to distribute it, especially for a competition with such little skill needed, but apart from that it seems like a good idea to me! PM whoever the RV manager is atm and poke them in this direction :)

As I say that was just an example 'Announcement' xD

However it may require more skill if the questions are harder - not so obvious!

Use the same questions as I used in my example - then ill get them right! :D

Any idea how often it will be done?

Maybe three times a month - as I think the best RVR in your department each month should get the other month :)

Yeh thats exactly what I was thinking!

The RV team should come first - but once/twice a month shouldnt hurt :)

I was just giving an example, and they were all based on rares - just a tad easy.. xD
