Well a close friend has quit WOW, and he didnt want his account to goto waste so he offered me the account. As I have heard so much about the game being fantastic I accept it.

I logged onto the account and it was prompting me to download WOW and WOW Burning Crusade so I did. I am now download this huge patch.

Anyway, im wondering what realm and what stats this account has as I know hes been playing since 2007. All i know is this current information;

The account name don't necessarily have anything to do with the characters name, and I can't find anyone by that name on the armoury. When you log on it will direct you to the realm he most recently logged onto, you'll have to wait until then to see your new characters :P

Just look at the character list to see the names of a character or click on the change realm button which will show you what realm's he has characters on and what their names are.

First off:

Congrats on joining World of Warcraft! As said by the others once the disgustingly huge patch is finished downloading log in and see what your characters names are. Then (Assuming you are on an EU account) search any character who is above level 10 here: http://eu.wowarmory.com/ and then when you find the character which matchhhes yours (realm, gender, race, class etc) you can see the stats. Or just hit enter world on the character from the selection screen and press the key C on your keyboard and it brings up the character window with stats and more.
