Not that it really matters that much at all but

Brighton is a city, not a town.


In 1997 Brighton and Hove were joined to form the unitary authority (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitary_authority) of Brighton and Hove (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brighton_and_Hove), which was granted city status (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_status_in_the_United_Kingdom) by Queen Elizabeth II (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Elizabeth_II) as part of the millennium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennium) celebrations in 2000.

Brighton is a city. It used to be a town though. It's sometimes called Brighton and Hove. :D
And it's a great place to live :)
