It's finally here. After 45 grueling games we have finally reached the climax of arguebly one of the best seasons in the newly-named Coca Cola Championship.
There have been many talking points this campaign, and this thread is for discussing all of them as we enter the final day of the season.
There are many issues still to be resolved, with the biggest being who will join Wolves in the Premiership next season via the 2nd automatic promotion spot.
Birmingham were 20 minutes away from the top flight last Saturday before 2 world class goals from Preston North End saw their celebrations brought to an abrupt halt. Reading and Sheffield United both pounced on this slip up by the Blues, as they both won 2-0 and 1-0 against Norwich and Swansea respectively. All of that adds up to a fantastic final day tug of war for a place in the Premiership. Unbelieveably, Birmingham's final game will be against one of their rivals for 2nd place this weekend - Reading. At the same time over in London, Sheffield United will lock horns with former manager Neil Warnock when the Blades take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. United boss Kevin Blackwell will be also looking to pull one over on his long time boss Warnock this Sunday.
Birmingham - If Birmingham beat Reading they are promoted.
Sheffield United - If Sheffield United beat Crystal Palace and Birmingham fail to win against Reading they are promoted.
Reading - If Reading beat Birmingham and Sheffield United fail to win against Crystal Palace they are promoted.

Meanwhilst in the battle for the play-offs, two teams out of Cardiff City, Burnley and Preston North End will join the 2 teams that don't get automatic promotion in the play-offs this season.
Cardiff City - If Cardiff get a point against Sheffield Wednesday they will be in the play-offs.
Burnley - If Burnley win against Bristol City they will be in the play-offs.
Preston - If Preston win against QPR and Burnley fail to win against Bristol City they will be in the play-offs.

It's a 2-way battle for survival now down at the bottom, as Barnsley and Norwich City fight to avoid joining Southampton and Charlton in League 1 next season.
Barnsley - If Barnsley lose against Plymouth and Norwich win against Charlton they will be relegated.
Norwich - If Norwich fail to win against Charlton or if they win and Barnsley avoid defeat against Plymouth then they will be relegated.

Give your views on who you want and who you think will be promoted, get into the play-offs and be relegated in this format.
Automatic Promotion
I want - Sheffield United to be promoted
I think - Birmingham will be promoted
Play-Offs
I want - Cardiff and Burnley to get into the play-offs
I think - Cardiff and Preston will get into the play-offs
Relegation
I want - Barnsley to be relegated
I think - Norwich will be relegated

All adds up to a great day of football in the Championship ;).

Wolves, Birmingham and Cardiff to be promoted, only for the atmospheres at the Brit.

But I also want Reading be promoted so we can sell the bag of ginger crap that is Kitson.

I really want Burnley to make the push in the play offs, it'll be a brilliant away day - we always have a laugh with the Burnley fans. They're a great lot.

Oh, and it's another north west club AND the famous Blackburn vs Burnley derby will be in the PL if Blackburn stay up. Now that'll be a great assist to the premiership. Much better than a "derby" game between Bolton and Wigan ***.

Barnsley will be safe and Norwich will be relegated as it stands, but if Plymouth score twice against Barnsley and Norwich come from behind to beat Charlton then Barnsley will be relegated.

GOAL! Plymouth 1-2 Barnsley - Early in the 2nd half Barnsley have gone 2-1 up thanks to Jamal Campbell-Ryce's goal in the 47th minute. This takes Barnsley 1 step closer to saffty and puts another nail in Norwich's coffin. Barnsley are now on 52 points, and go 1 place above Plymouth.
