What's your story?

Though it has been 4 years ago, I still remember registering on Habbo for the very first time. Looking back on it now, being someone who rarely ever logs into Habbo and just fills up on all the updating and gossip around the game, I feel like such a dork. :P

Well to get this thread rolling.. I do believe it was a day after school, possibly near the end of the week when one of my friends called me after he was browsing a CCS (Do believe I got the name right, but it's the skateboarding website) and saw and advertisement of Habbo Hotel. Being the little dorks we were, he called me after his computer wouldn't let him register for some odd reason. So not only did I register my first Habbo character, I as well registered his. (BAN BAN BAN! Ye?) So, during that weekend we begged to spend the night with one another to our parents. Spent all night in the pub rooms and I found a way to trick my mom into buying my some coins. I was already a member of www.pogo.com which is a gaming site to win money. So I just went up to her and said the subscription was due again and bought myself 50 coins. ;) Boy was I all over myself. From then on, I was like any other Habbo... OMG I JUST APPLIED TO BE A HOBBA! Which led into getting hacked and all that fun stuff.

Grew out of trading fast and immediately went into loving fansites. Always loved the aspect of them and have been trying ever since to get a decent one up. Never have though, never had the skills to back myself up, though I do have the management and ideas. Off subject, but yea..


So, that's my story and I still occastionally have those dorky moments where I say to myself "Man I wish I had some stuff." But I think that's for everyone though.

Oh and my friend who got me involved in habbo. Quit playing after a few weeks and left me in the hell hole for 4 years and counting. Haha

Heres mine;
One weekend my big sister was playing habbo, I was watching her and when it was my turn on the computer i subscribed, she gave me an egg basket for free, as the noob i was i was going into furni shops trying to sell that for an habbo cola then i brought some credits and brought furni in the cat, this was at the time when you cant redeem credits and i was like "My pura lamp for your mode bar" like all that and then i left for a bit, then later came back on for about 2 months then got banned. I made a new account and got banned on there and left habbo.
I then found out all account were unbanned in 08ish around then and i started playing again

I can't actually remember registering on Habbo but it was sometime in early '06. VelvetClover wasn't my first account but I made her in January '06 and she's been my main account ever since.
I hung around in a place called Hot Hot Tryouts until it shut down (anyone remember that place? Good times lol) then made a Trade Room which was quite popular but got squashed by Trade City soon enough.
First fansite I was ever really into was Habbonation, then I think they shut down? Their forum changed to Urspeech which I still visit sometimes.
Stopped playing for a few months and came back, discovered Habbox forum and I'm now addicted to it wahey lol.
I don't play Habbo as much as I used to as I don't really have many friends :( lol

Hmmm i joined back in '06 but just used to go into public rooms and stuff.. i left for swapitshop forums for 2 years but then i decided to give it a shot as bordom hit.. had a few mates who didnt play anymore go got a few donations and started from there really. I used to do 2 norms for my 1 cred and i still remember watching the purse when redeeming all my 1 creds n when it got too 100 giving a little cheer LOL Since then ive had some breaks and just play grabbers/ casinos these days as i dont really care about loosing my stuff as its mainly my mates who bet me so its all off to a good cause and people who'll enjoy it more.
