K basically someone (apparently a ***** member) has been spreading this website (www.habbo101.com (http://www.habbo101.com)) about, it's just another "lets **** off people cause we're cool" type thing but there's also stuff about Habbox being written. Either it's written up by the owner(s) or it's being emailed in, either way it could be made up.

I can't comment on the renewal because I haven't spoken to Sierk, but nothing seems to suggest there's a problem here so I don't believe a word of it.

As for the News Department, there's no conspiracy. Ollie needed someone to help him get through the workload and cover for him during the exam period and Joey is the best qualified person for the job.

Well all I can say is that I have been away for almost a year and from my perspective all the members and staff are much happier and the forum is in pretty good shape. It has a much more chilled and friendly atmosphere -
there were much worse power games before. Some were downright devious.

I do think that Habbox needs its equivalent of VIP ( without advertising of course) to help with the costs of the site. The sooner that is sorted the better I believe.

It's easy to spread unfounded gossip and I am sure that the people that
matter in this will put it down to where it comes from.

Sierk has pretty much taken a back seat for as long as I've used Habbox (2006) but I know this year he has hardly been on at all because I was told by nvrspk4. The accusations against nvrspk4 are unfounded, as Rosie says the forum is now much better and has a better atmosphere compared to the former periods in time. Nvrspk4 from when i've spoken to him is fair and doesn't appear to favour people over others, as I believe has occured in the past under former administrations.

sierk has indeed taken a back seat, whereas he used to post an announcement occasionally I don't even see that anymore. However this I think is better as it is now being run by the people who are on more and know Habbox better, the site has never been more updated than at this time and from what I know of my time on Habbo, its never had as much content as it does now and is far more stable now.

These emails have no stated source which makes them seem very out of the blue and there seems to be no flurry of resignations from management which would indicate a 'regime change' if you like, so until more happens i'd say false. :)

It's also very noticeable that the reason Nvr was chosen as the GM, would of had something to do with not only being more than capable of carrying out the role but also that he could and can be trusted. Sierk wouldn't put the responsibility of the site into just anyones hands. The empire he's built is far too important. Adding onto that I believe the site is in excellent hands, and I'm sure many long time members would fully agree with me.

I do not know what the fuss is about, it is quite obvious that whoever has emailed these fabrications to this ridiculous website is clearly attempting to stir up trouble. The only people who would know if sierk is selling up are the people in the higher echelons of power and I doubt any of those people would be wasting their time writing emails to such a website.
Just because you do not see sierk on Habbox, does not mean he has disappeared off of the face of the earth and leaving Habbox to expire and that be the end of it. sierk has invested a lot of time and money into Habbox and I sincerely doubt he would allow it to close. There are other forms of communication off of the Forum that sierk could use to keep up-to-date with the people he needs to be updated by. You have nothing to worry about :).

I have been in contact with sierk, just yesterday actually. He isn't active in Habbox affairs anymore however he is still the owner and the site would not be sold off nor shut down, as MissAlice referenced there are backup plans in worst case scenarios, but at the moment it won't come to that.

The reason I chose not to make an announcement was because I don't feel like giving this guy any attention, its all ridiculous. Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I was mid reply and then went off to do something and ended up falling asleep lmao.
