How much do you have to spend? And is it a custom built PC or an OEM such as Dell, HP, Packard Bell, Compaq etc?

This damn forum loves to double post me at the moment.

For that you're looking at a new CPU, RAM, motherboard, PSU and graphics card. Do you know what size motherboard your case takes? m-ATX or full ATX?

Edit: The board you have now is m-ATX so I guess the new one will need to be.

Do you want you stay with an AMD motherboard or do you want Intel?

I know you said an AM3 CPU, but you're going to get a lot more for your money if you go with AM2 - you don't need to buy more expensive DDR3 RAM or a more expensive motherboard.

CPU: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/155715 or http://www.ebuyer.com/product/155714
RAM: 2 x http://www.ebuyer.com/product/146049 or 2 x http://www.ebuyer.com/product/148859 (8GB total)
Motherboard: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/150949
PSU: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/135159
