Estimating Ink Levels - HP Deskjet Printer

Anyone an idea how to do this. My mum gave it me it from her work and it came with no CD's and I plugged it in and it works but dunno how to check ink lvls.

Goto printers on your computer, right click the printer, properties usually.

Take them out and give them a shake?
