The new Sky HD guide is best described as a 4 letter word beginning with S. It's slow, unreliable and glitchy. I have to shout at it for a good 5 seconds for it to go back to something by pressing back-up :/

It is definitely just HD, and I don't like it.

Too used to old one.

Which box are you using, because it's different on different boxes performance wise ;p

Just do a system reset (it doesn't wipe your HDD), and that should speed up things :P

I heard it was best on the Thomson boxes. I'm getting Sky HD in 8-10 weeks (when Sky can fulfil all their orders, blegh) and I'm worried it's still gonna be poo.

Interfaces should be usable for people "without" a brain too though.

You should be able to get everywhere in two or three clicks.

If you have Sky Anytime (need Sky+ for it), there is a video on the new guide.

If not:

The information button functionality with programs on other channels or later on is good. In the old guide you can only get information on the thing you are watching, or in the Sky Guide itself. Though I don't like how beefy this new guide is, the lag it suffers sometimes is a bit horrific.
