Hey,

Well recently I changed over from Virgin Media's 20MB package to their 50MB package and RapidShare can only handle it really if I download 6 files at the same time and get 1MB/s each.

Although I saw summit Jewish Bear was using and some guy recommended me a site you had to pay for and you get newsgroup access or something accross those lines.

Was just wondering if anyone with expearience that had xFire/MSN could come on and help me set it up. Would be more than happy to give a little reward VIA paypal if successful.

Regards,
Berch

Ok.

Lets say I wanted to use sabnzbd.
I just downloaded it and it's opened in Firefox to use it, at bottom its alerting me I need to add a server and asks for an IP and login etc. Is that the thing I buy from Astraweb and put the login and IP I get from them into their?

Correct :)

Correct :)

Thanks for the help.

But.. Which package should I choose?
Unlimited - $10 every month, 1 Mbit/s
Unlimited DSL - $15 every month, No speed limit
Unlimited DSL 3 Months - $39 every 3 months, No speed limit

The second one seems like a nice price and says no speed limit. Is that a good choice or this is from Astraweb btw hope that's a good site to use.

When you buy it you'll get access to a members area which gives you the server conneciton info (Recommend you use the Europe SSL server on port 443).

Ok. I'm not getting a better download speed 6MB/s which is what I was hoping for.

What's that "Mode" "D" mean? and the category and the other 2 options :D

Thanks again for answering all questions :)

The modes are

Unpack
Repair
Delete

Delete will repair and extract all files then delete the rars for you. And category will just sort your downloads into categories for you.

Who are you with at the moment? And which speeds.

As you may of heard I am on 50MB/s and I only got a maximum of 2-2.1MB/s from RapidShare 1 file and with this I get 6MB/s so it speaks for it's self really they have extremely good servers and only costs like £1 extra per month than RapidShare so I thought Oosh why not give it a try glad I did now though.

I'm with Virgin on a 10mb package. I get near enough 10m/b on Speedtest. I may consider changing. Is there a large amount of files and is it updated frequently etc compared to say, Warez-bb?

Right chuckles, I am going to explain sabnzbd to you and you are going to enjoy it:

1) Click Config, then General, then change your web interface to "Plush"
2) Restart sabnzbd
3) Hover over the big "sabnzbd" button with a downwards pointing arrow, change update frequency to 2 seconds.

Use the sorting tools to sort your files out, it really helps.

No you can't have my config I use different HDDs to store stuff.

Dude. I officialy love you.

Thanks alot making a reply and telling me that :) this thing is damn awesome.
May I ask where you get your NZB files from? Don't really matter if the site requires you pay if it's a good site. Thanks again. (L)
