they only finished filming the series last week and i think theres about 5 weeks left. so it was probably about 6 weeks ago.
i swear down there was no pet shop there 6 weeks ago, but there is another one, but like no one knows about it.

It's very likely knowing the BBC they shot the episode in a dis-used pet shop pretending it was still existent :P
You should of done the decent thing and shot them all, none of them know anything about business. Hopeless beggars!

Some of them are very good at business actually, such as James, Mona, Kate and Loraine, its just that the BBC need to put people in who make good TV, otherwise nobody would watch it.

The series starts filming in Autumn, so it would've been quite a while back that episode...

You obviously have no idea what what you are on about as they finished filming in November 2008 ...
They film the whole season before airing the first ever episode and film 2 endings.
Then the night before the final episode is aired, Sir Alan lets the producers know who he chose as the winner. This way the winners name is not leaked.
The 2 finalists work for Sir Alan temporarily till the final.
If you dont believe me then look on the Apprentice's Website.
How does Sir Alan decide who the winner is?
Sir Alan decides the winner on the basis of the final task and boardroom. He makes his decision on the day of the final boardroom. Because there is a gap between the shoot and transmission (to leave time for editing), there is a concern about keeping the secret of who has won during that time, so as not to spoil it for the viewers. In order to ensure that the secret is kept, two endings are filmed, and Sir Alan doesn’t reveal his decision of who he has chosen to the finalists and the production team until the day before transmission of the final programme.
