I dont wish to sound rude or anything but to be honest.
YOU DO need a decent domain and money to start a fansite (popular one..)
No one will go on 'www.habstralia.piczo.com' (just example add on domain)
It soudns like a retro.

No one will usually go to a fansite that is a subdomain, or that doesn't have a url like www.habbofansitename.com/.net/.co.uk/.ca/.org
So tbh I think you shouldn't waste your time as it will not become popular. And your traffic will be thoes that want to see how bad the website is.

My goal isn't to make it popular, my goal is to make it look good, and do everything any other good fansite can. Thanks for all the support from otha ppl :) and I guess If I was trying to make it popular I'd fail... But anyway, b4 I was talking about the yanks, I like the british, and new zealands, and of course Australian coz I am one, lol...

You don't want to make it popular.. - You want to make it look good...?
really hard?
Either buy or design a nice layout, get a free site and upload it?
Really hard?

My thoughts exactly..
Ripping a layout? :D
I await the release of your website. Trying to do everything free whilst looking professional generally fails D:

We are not trying to be mean ;)
Its basically because no freebie site (a site with out .net .com or .co.uk) will fail against any other paid fansite!

Now, just read the last line of the qoute, now if you get rid of the stuff inside brackets (now read this to yourself and see if he said you he was supposed to) Its basically because no freebie will fail against any other paid site! in other words your saying my site wont fail... think about it... But you shouldn't post ITS GONNA FAIL!!! everywhere coz its not supposed to succeed its just there to sho you a freesite can still look good and be ejust as interesting as a paid site, my site want take off, nor do I wont it too.

I find it slightly hilarious that you have the cheek to insult someone else's mistake.
Everyone knows it's completely possible to make a free site look good and be interesting. It's just incredibly difficult to make a successful site for free, especially when you're only spending a week on it.

One week? Yes, epic fail.
A good, organized, decent and well put together fansite takes time bud.
Can't =]

OCD Kicking in for a second... You're misusing "wont" and "want."
I want that stuff
I wont do anything
Soz.. just gets to me. :P

That's a pathetic response. A freebie can look good, there's no doubt there. Your comment is implying that a professional web designer could not put up his best designs on a freebie host and a freebie domain and it be good. It can look good, but whether it gets hits or not is the thing.
Now, the week thing is obviously agreed to.
It's possible for a fansite with free web hosting, domain etc to get Official. Just make it pop up free then get people supporting it and you're good.

This is very unlikely. If a website ends with .freewebs.com .co.cc or .tk then people just automatically think It's going to be bad - it might not be, but it just wont seem professional. Plus, it sorta shows that the owner isnt dedicated enough/ to young to buy a domain or hosting.
Although you might be able to make a succesful site with free hosting, but a domain is just a must have.

I am truly sorry that soo many people keep saying I cant making it a success although I've clearely stated that I dont want it be popular, to those slower people in the forum I've got something to keep you entertained:

Domain is just a name, most importantly is still the contents of your site. If you're brilliant/professional or good in advertising, promoting your site I'm sure you'll be able to do it. (I fail in this) But yea, freewebs isn't recommended, too long. People will starts to spam your site if they can have advantages.
