Everyone hates me in School and it's so dam uncomfortable ( sp? ) I think there jealous because i'm always get up in the hall and read out stuff from a script... Plus i actually do feel sorry for myself i've kept quite for whole day today to see how it went if you know what a mean but however i think they still don't like me / hate me i can see it in there eyes that there jealous and i'm not stupid. And also when i try to talk to them they obviously don't answer back which is a bit arrogant don't you all think that aye? And plus i actually really hate it when people do that so what's all your Advice / Tip's? Please share them all as soon as possible! I really, really, really hope this made sense...

People probably see you as a bit of an idiot because you don't do what they do. In school it isn't seen as "cool" to go up to the front and start reading stuff out. At the end of the day you are who you are. Sure you can change to please them but why should you?! You're doing nothing wrong. I will be your friend babe.

Never or less though i don't want to do what they do like being a idiot etc, etc because i feel stupid acting like a idiot / swearing on what the naughty kid's do thank you the Advice!

It's not exactly relevant but how old are you?

It probably sounds stupid but they probably think/feel that your a threat to them?

My advice is to just ignore them, their not worth the time of day.

And no course not i'm not a threat to them i stay quiet if i can but at some points are can talk alot on the other side though glad it's the end of week so i don't have to deal with the crap again

Well why dont you try asking them. It seems by the looks of things, you're keeping quiet about it to them so you don't even know for sure yet. You can always look into another school.

Talk to your pastrol care / guidance teacher. She/he will be able to help professionally. You shouldn't need to act like someone you aren't, move schools etc. I'm sure there will be a few people willing to be your freind, just try to keep away from the "trouble makers/chavs" as it sounds though you are going up to them because you said you didn't want to act like idiotic. I could only presume the idiotic character would be adapted from a chav.

Anyways I know you don't like me so you probably wont listen but defos try your pastrol care teacher.

I think its more of a self-esteem issue here. I am sure people do like you but you lack confidence in yourself. Anybody who is jealous of you doing well is not worth knowing really. The teens can be an awful time for self confidence as I know. Maybe have a chat with your parents to see if they think you need to feel more confident. :)

Talking to someone about it, especially a member of staff could worsen things. I think the best thing is to do, is to go up to the one of the ppl who don't seem to like you and ask them...

He shouldn't have to leave school because he's not liked and he's 16, so I'm guessing that it's his last year, with GCSES coming up so there's no point.

Excuse me if I sound rude but do you not think you might be a bit paranoid? It's a school, people look at people. Perhaps you're just twisting it in your own mind due to lack of confidence?

Everyone gets daggers in high school and people like yourself that read outloud (and that's brilliant by the way) just get looked at even more because you're putting yourself out there. They probably are shocked at your confidence because it isn't what teenagers are expect to do. If you do something different (which you shouldn't stop doing) people will look at you different.

People actually hated me in high school because I did some nasty things and I deserved it but you haven't so I don't think they hate you. Maybe they're just weary of you. Perhaps, as suggested, talk to some people. You might, as i've said, just be over-thinking things.

Just don't give up on yourself. You seem like a very brave person and I admire that. It's people like you that are the spine of Britain. It musn't be easy getting up there and reading scripts but you've got passion and nothing should get in the way of that.

No-one is jealous of you hun, if they were really jealous of you for reading out infront of the school I'm sure they would try harder to do so, doubt it's anyones school dream. If people were jealous of you, why would you care if they didn't like you? I wouldn't want to be friends with people jealous of me (hence why I don't have many x). Sorry to be so blunt but they might ignore you because they see you as, well, a bit geeky? Not many 'cool' people stand infront of their school to read things out and not many people will want to befriend the people that do because it's seen as being the teacher's pet and a bit of a nerd & it's just not cool to be friends with that kind of people.
Do what Clowgon said, go up to one of the main people when they're by themselves and ask, you might get an answer and if they're still rude you shouldn't want to be around them :S

Well, I admire your confidence with getting up infront of everyone to read. I don't know tbh, I suppose I'd have to see it before i can truley help, perhaps maybe they think your a 'swat' or 'stuck up', you could try saying hello or hi to people in the corridor and gradually work friendships with everyone?
