Okay so I have applied for my sixth form and been accepted, and I have chosen to do Biology, Graphics, Art and Maths.
Lately all the younger years have been getting on my nerves and just getting in the way, and I was seriously considering college.
I was just wondering is it too late to apply for college, and what would I tell the sixth form? Or is there a way of going to sixth form for a few months and if I don't like it apply for college?
Any advice on how to apply for college too?

Why would it be too late to do sixth form? Unless you have paid already just leave. I am sure they won't mind that much.. just secure a spot at college otherwise you will be up **** creek tbh
I chose college for this reason! The immaturity of younger years!
You can still apply for both, aslong as you do it fairly soon, I've heard stories of people getting into college a few days after sixth form because they dont like it :P
You would tell sixth form that you've changed your mind? You don't need to make up excuses ect, they would understand!
And i'm not too sure about changing a few months in, as they have different ways of teaching and they might even teach things in a different order, so i wouldnt do this.
And yeah, usually just go to the website and you can find a form online to print out or pop into there and collect one.

I think it's wayy too late to apply for college, can you get a course after Christmas? We were advised to apply from October-January time, February at the very latest incase they want to interview you or ask for more details. That's what I'm doing, going to 'sixth form' so I'm not just sitting around the house until Christmas then i'm going college after that, as for my course you have to be 17 so I've got to wait till then, you should just apply for your college anyway and see when they can have you and decide then.

It's not too late, I applied around this time last year. Then I applied around August for another Sixth Form not connected to a school. I got an interview the week later.
Yeah its not too late at all, My friend applied only a few weeks ago for this September and went for an interview not long after and got in, so aslong as you do it sooooonish then you'll be fine :)

Right so what I gathered it's not too late to apply as long as I apply quite soon. If I get an interview and get in then I should just be able to let my sixth form know and they will understand.
The only thing that's stopping me leaving is my friends like how much I'm going to miss them and stuff, and I know I will make new ones but it's just hard to let go. I like a few of the teachers too which is also making me wonder whether to stay or not.
Thanks to all replies +Rep.
Yeah thats correct!
and friends, yeah thats quite a big thing, but how many freinds do you think you will actually keep in contact with after you leave sixth form? And also you could still meet them outside of school!

Yeah the younger years are annoying little ***** lol
But I dont think its too late, my college are still sending me letters about me attending a plumbing course, but im thinking of doing an apprenticeship, so i have the same problem as you atm :P
To apply for college you just need to send a letter off, and they should reply to you pretty soon.
I applied through school, because we have connexions come into our school and talk to each pupil in year 11 to find out what they are doing after school, so it was pretty easy.
Good luck with your decisions
