was going to buy paprika on blu ray but i seen bad reviews for it so i didnt get it atm.
so i got Tekkonkireet on blu ray instead.

that opening looks quite good aswell.

The only people giving Paprika bad reviews are morons who don't understand the story. Anime News Network gave it a perfect score. A+'s for everything - story, voice acting, animation, art and music. The highest score I've ever seen on that website.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/paprika

Tekkonkinkreet is pretty awesome, the style is very unique and it's done by Studio 4°C so how can you complain? Paprika's opening is much better though :D - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqg3Sw3s9Wg

Paprika is awesome, and I mean really awesome, but I still prefer all of Satoshi Kon's other anime I've seen. That being Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers and Paranoia Agent. Millennium Actress is seriously one of the best movies ever made in my opinion.

Southe,

What O.O?

I'll no longer acknowledge any post he makes from now on. Hajime no ippo is great.. sure the moves are a little exaggerated but apart from that its as real as boxing. Dosent have to rely on special ninja soul reaping powers.

And Gurren Lagann is like 10. sure thats what ive put on MyAnimeList. speaking of which hopefully get my 2nd dvd tommorow with the cd.

When did you order it? Amazon estimates are usually a few days longer than what they're suppost to be so they have time to fix your order if something goes wrong with it. I've ordered many items where it's told me to wait like 10 days but they came in only 4.

Southe,

I have nothing against dubs. Just really crappy dubs like Naruto. Believe it!

Your not a Dub only person are you? because then the ripping will get far worse. Dubs are fine providing there done Properly. Which is something Naruto fails to do.

Thats all for this now. If your a dub only person then i will return. :@

Edit: Jord was watching 4kids One Piece tho. There fault OP isnt as big as Naruto in the US with all the kids lol.

D'espairs Ray are awesome! I haven't been watching much anime lately, I normally try to catch the new FMA each week. But lately I just have been so busy :O

In fact I haven't posted on the forums in ages either for the same reason, but I am sort of back now ;) Hey! I forgot to mention that I read the NHK manga, and it explained a lot of what the anime didn't ^^

What does anyone think of SGT.Frog (Keroro Gunsou) I think I have asked this question before, but totally have forgotten. IMO the Manga is more aimed at an older age group so I like that more, but the anime still is great!

also looking at my amazon stuff, and it says should have got a dvd yesterday so its gone over the estimate now D: lol. hopefully come tommorow. Looking at amazon lots of cheap boxsets/complete series.

Did you get your Gurren lagann 2 dvd?

Looking at the US dvds, the 1st set looks fine. apart from the US box having diffrent artwork and being bigger.
2nd one we are only getting the ost but the 3rd US has a cd so i dno if thats the same one.. but the US got a bag.
and US got a cd and manga for there 3rd set.. so im hoping we get the manga. not really fussed about the bag.

The last image is, the rest are official.

I haven't even ordered my Gurren Lagann DVD yet. :P I'm in no rush seeing as how limited editions these days aren't actually limited anymore. I remember when marmite crisps first came out. They were suppose to be limited edition but they're still kicking!

I've already spent like £60 on DVDs this week, and I paid £20 for a short film and £15 for Peter Jackson's first movie. Which is damn expensive so I don't want to blow more money on an overpriced DVD. £36 is a bit much... Amazon are usually better than this. I'm going to search around to see if I can find it cheaper.

We get a '2 CD soundtrack'. I downloaded them soundtrack a while back and remember it being two discs, so it's probably the complete OST. I hope we don't get the manga with the third set because I already have it!

Omg, That TTGL artwork is amazing! It makes me want to crop it and resize it and make a new signature out of it :)

On another topic this morning, I think it was Yo****o Usuis funeral yesterday. Known for being the creator of Crayon Shin-Chan. He went missing on September the 11th and was found at a bottom of a cliff :( The police say it isn't suicide, but most have there doubts.

The anime is continuing being shot till the end of the series that it is on now. :(

Was anyone else a fan of the old episodes of Shin Chan back in the day, or the manga? Not the English dub because really that wasn't very good.

I've never heard of King of Thorn before but I was just researching it and it seems that it hasn't even been released in Japan yet. It's about time we got some exclusive releases! The manga is aprrently really good so heres hoping the film will be too. I heard the Eureka Seven movie is pretty average but I've seen both Eva 1.0 and The Sky Crawlers and they're amazing. Well, The Sky Crawlers is actually a little boring but the aerial dog fights are brilliant. I've heard endless good things about Time of Eve. Can't wait but I don't think I'll be able to handle meeting Elijah Wood and finally getting to see Eva 1.0 on the big screen all in one day.

Aachi & Ssipak is a South Korean Film, and I didn’t know if it had any place in this section! But ill post it here anyway and let you guys decide :D I first saw it at an anime showing at a con I went to. It’s such a random film involving the Diaper gang! And the Cyborg policeman and hoodlums and all sorts of random things. It is quite violent so if you aren’t into that sort of stuff then sorry :3 but it really is something I found very amusing for 90 mins. It wasn’t the best thing I have seen, but really was quite amusing to see a lot of Smurf like creatures be shot at and killed.

If you have seen it, what do you think? :D If you haven’t then check it out sometime ;)

However, as of the week of September 28 2009, One Piece has been rerun on CN Too, the channel that replaced Toonami, every day at 9pm, the rerun, which is using the 4kids version, some three years after 4kids lost the rights to One Piece, began at the end of the Drum Island arc and is airing two episodes every night. It is unknown if Turner UK has plans as towords airing the rest of One Piece using the Funimation version once the whole of the Alibasta arc is aired.

Brb while i mourn.. :( because i dount the funimation version will appear.. if it does i'll be suprised. and would be nice to see the skypia arc dubbed before i see it on dvd. tho have to deal with Zolo >.>

Yep. :D The last few chapters have been absolutely amazing. I always think its as good as it's going to get but then the next chapter always proves me wrong. Everyone seems to think Raki is going to become a Claymore for some reason. That would be absurd though. Raki is the only human character left, theres no chance that is going to change. I'm hoping Miria shows up soon, and I want to see some Priscilla action! I wish it wasn't a monthly manga though. Raki was reintroduced a loooooooong time ago but he still hasn't really done anything. The wait is killing me!

That's a live action movie I think. The drama is pretty popular in Japan. The anime so far has two series and two OVA's. The third season starts in January and it's going to be the last one. The manga has finished now as well. Gutted. Have you watched the anime/read the manga? I highly recommend both.

I've seen the drama, first series of anime + never looked at the manga although i've got 2 weeks off so I may aswell. It's not that I didn't like the anime I just figured I'd watch the drama instead and got into that more.

Well I always agreed that he shouldn't become a claymore because as you say he's one of the few human characters but he could easily especially now that the organization are looking into him.
Yeah where the hell is Priscilla anyway? Wasn't she with Raki in that village when those pods hailed down? I thought for sure she would awaken then. Argh. I bet you Miria rescues Cynthia and Uma because no way can they take down an awakened Alicia/Beth (I can't remember who's who).
I wish it wasn't monthly either but it balances out in the artwork anyway which is amazing. Also they've pushed back the release for volume 15 :@ it was meant to be November of this year but they've pushed it back till like May of next year.

Does it sound weird that Hajime No Ippo has inspired me to workout. For the past 3 weeks I have been going to the gym and doing daily workouts at home constantly. Hekireki and Under Star are also on my Workout playlist. I've only started New Challenger too due to some coursework deadlines last week and the week before.

Nooooo chance! What would even be the point in turning Raki into a Claymore? What would the organisation accomplish from it? They've just made a man who already hates them one hundred times stronger. Sucks to be the org. Can't happen, won't happen. :P

Priscilla was like forget this I'm gone. Seriously though, Raki could not have taken down that parasite by himself. I assume Priscilla helped. Maybe she had trouble because of her weakened state and is buried under some rubble somewhere.

I agree. Miria will probably help Uma and Cynthia. Maybe Miria will fight Beth while Uma and Cynthia fight Alica or vice versa.

Vagabond is a weekly manga and so was Gon and they both have the most amazing art I have ever seen. Death Note was also and that had great art. Yagi should hire more staff. :D

I don't really mind the delay seeing as how the English releases are only two volumes behind the Japanese releases. That's how it should be for every manga! The English releases of Bleach are 14 volumes behind the Japanese ones. Now thats just taking the piss.

I wasnt to know about Hajime no ippo 3rd series lol. cba reading the manga yet. have pile of books to read.

3 are finaly going to be paying back the money the owe me.. (hopefully unless they screw me over again) so ill be buying more manga and some more dvds/blu ray films. Tho fact i havent got 3 dvds and there like a week over the esitmate.. well.. a month on the 19th they were ordered so im wary of ordering anythign atm..

hmm need to sort my youtube out.. blabbering hate it when i cant sleep.. apparently DB is being removed from a library in the us because someone complained saying its CP cos you see goku naked.. =/

Beez biggest release at the Expo in two weeks will probably be Gurren Lagann 2 and Sword of the Stranger. Anyone who went to the Expo in May was able to get Gurren Lagann 1 three weeks before it's actual release so I assume they'll do the same with Sword of the Stranger which isn't actually out until November (it got delayed!). They'll HAVE to release it early at the Expo seeing as how the director is going to be there.

Gurren Lagann LE 1 and 2 - £30 each
Gurren Lagann RE 1 and 2 - £20 each

I think I'll probably just get the regular edition for the second Gurren Lagann DVD. I'm not too bothered about the CD. £20 is still way overpriced though. Each set has the same amount of episodes the Claymore DVDs do but the Gurren Lagann DVDs cost over £10 more. They charged me like £20 for Diebuster as well. That's only six episodes and comes in a fairly cheap looking case. It's one of those slim card ones, not a proper DVD case. Plus their subtitles are only satisfactory and there are pretty much no extras. Beez are rip offs.

Urgh, Afro Samurai Ressurection is terrible. Probably one of the worst anime sequels ever. Doesn't live up to the first season at all.

Also, a new anime season is upon us. Anyone watching any of the new series? I watched the first episode of The Scared Blacksmith, which I thought was pretty good. It's a little cliche, but enjoyable. I'm currently downloading the first episode of Fairy Tail as well. The manga has been endlessly praised and compared to One Piece so I guess this is going to be pretty popular.

Look at the Natsu? Guy.

http://i29.tinypic.com/2j13dia.jpg
Luffy pic i came across.

If you go on paint.. and change his hair to black and add a scar underneave his eye its luffy.

Now the opening. using this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZ4B36VLodU

The 1st part when he poses with his arm up ive seen him do but cant recall where.
Obviously the eating the 2 bits of meat which is luffys thing. (all typical shonen people eat lots but naruto has noodles, goku eats lots of stuff but mostly see him with bowls of rice)
At the 0:50 seconds mark hes standing, his face looks like him again.

And the running part. within the 1st few seconds you get the crew running at the top luffys running the same way.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-79eloof18A

So yes true its just the opening but im sure if i watch it i could pull out more things. and you have to admit he looks like luffy D:

Edit: What was the site sure it was nial that mentioned it before. gives u eps for download for series and stuff.. cant remember what it was called.. i remember getting SZS from it. wanted to check for Katekyō Hitman reborn!.

・Railgun gets 2 seasons
・Stike Witch Season 2→2010 Feb
・Big Windup! Season 2 coming next spring
・Gintama TV Series ended→The first Gintama Movie
・Corpse Demon anime (Fuyumi Ono )→April
・Code Geass New series
・New Armored Trooper Votoms anime
・House of Five Leaves Anime→April
・Hakuouki Anime→April
・MAJOR Anime→ April

If this is true, I might just end up dying happy. New Code Geass? **** YEAH.

Strike Witches, Sky Girls, K-ON!, Saki... they're all the same. Okay in small doses but I can't stand full series.

It has Funimation's logo all over it, they must be involved somehow seeing as how they usually have nothing to do with anime distribution in Europe. Funimation have probably started licensing anime worldwide and are selling distribution rights to companies in different countries. Those punks, they think they own the world! Can't UK companies license anime anymore!? Anyway, hopefully it's an error on Play.com's side as they're the ones who listed Evangelion on their website in that way. I don't understand why they wouldn't release 1.11 on DVD - a format 99% of the world still buys. It's just plain stupid. Play.com better just be misinformed!

Funi owns the anime market in the west.

And the reason Funi's logo is because companys use there dub. well they eithe rpay to use there dub or funi get rights all of the place and re-sell them.

And if i recall.. The blu ray master was lower quality to the us version. i will have a little look to see if i can find the source.

In all seriousness - that's my comment back when there was a rumour Gintama would be ending after the director left and when Gintama itself decided to troll viewers. Good times. Brings up the current rumour actually. The finale will simply HAVE to involve Takasugi, and it would need quite a build up. There is also a lot of unfinished material out there and the potential for a lot more. As the anime and manga both currently stand - I can't see them ending any time soon.

Ryuzaki, tell me why One Piece is good please. I'm considering watching it, but the fact it has 400 episodes+ (I thought Bleach had a lot with 243) makes it look a bit off putting.

Southe,

How to explain it. Essay

Characters: Are all likeable/Loveable unlike other series where you tend to hate someone. Oda puts lot more effort into backstorys etc when they come up. Even the bad guys your like awesome.

Story: The story does seem a bit =/ at the start if you jump right into the anime, The Arlong arc which is about.. late 30's is when it pics up a bit and begins to get more awesome. At the animation change over thats when they really get awesome tho everything before is good and still awesome but you see the diffrence with the newer eps. I dont cry or anything but OP has made me go like awww quite a few times because of the backstorys and the way stuff is handled.

The twists are very good and unexpected. you may think like ah i might know who he is and then it turns out to be something you didnt expect which makes it more intresting unlike certain other series that are becoming boring and predictable (naruto), Things that didnt seem important at the very begining turn up later which is intresting since oda likes to plan things out ahead of time.

Animation: Is good started in 1997 so the begining looks Oldish not like current series. The animation improves over the episodes but OP obviously became very popular so they got more budget and were able to push the animation up so at about 200. the episodes went to HD and Numerous animaters started doing episodes. for example Tate seems to do fight scenes more often. the animation looks the same but you can tell its done by diffrent teams.

Music: Awesome. fits series perfectaly and they reuse music from movie osts so theres 100's of bgm's

Best selling manga of all time 177 million last time it was announced and db was like 155. Naruto and bleach dont even come close. and im expecting the Viz manga speed up is going to draw alot more people to one piece.

I would suggest watching it and giving it a chance. tho you could watch a few of the movies. which would give you some idea of what the shows are like but the actual anime is 10x better. movies 1-7 since 8-9 are movie versions of arc's and you dont wanna be spoilt.

Sub > Funi Dub > > > > > 4kids Dub.

lol quite alot ^^;; did you watch the trailer? what did you think from seeing that and not seeing the show before?

PaulMacC

One Piece's early animation put me off, it looked so old and kiddish.

Southe,
01-11-2009, 11:45 PM
old seeing as it was made in 1997 what where you expecting ^^;; and the dvd quality is good all these streaming sites have old qualtity eps. and its certainly not kiddish for example the current arc is awesome and the animeation gets better through the eps. and the movie trailer i posted animation in that looks awesome. with a bit go GL style at the end lol.

What puts me off One Piece is the length. I just don't think I could dedicate myself to such a long series, and knowing it does have bad parts along the way also pushes it down that little bit on my to watch list. I don't think I'll ever watch the anime, but I do think I'll pick up the manga at some point.

Southe,
02-11-2009, 10:10 PM
I can understand the length puts people off it put me off at the begining think it was at the 270ish region when i started. but i watched it got sucked in and was watching few episodes each day. But on the Plus side of things. you have lots of eps so you don't have to wait a week for a new ep unless you catch up which should take some time.

Well for someone like you that actually reads manga then you should give the manga a try 1st. ive started re-reading it and awesomeness pluss you have the speed up starting next year so by june next year 53 volumes should be out (need more shelf space D: )

Also i would suggest watching some of the movies. Since they tend to cut out flashbacks and standing around and what not just gets straight to the point with the action and humour.

And i know ive said before it gets good around XX point. well i was hooked within ten eps. tho to some might take longer. the first 50 episodes are known as the East Blue Arc. Which is mainly 5-6 smaller arcs piled together to help introduce the members. then you have other arcs afterwards that have more episodes such as skypia had around 80 i think. But they wont matter because the later eps just become entertaining because all the characters are likeable.

Really cant understand why OP isnt as popular as naruto. I know alot of the naruto fanbase comes from america and such but OP is constantly on the top 10 ratings where as naruto and bleach arent. thats why im hoping these speed ups boost One Piece popularity. You wont see anyone who puts as much effort into One Piece >.>
Awesome manga arc atm with lots ot details and double spreads, Recently had a child, and producing and directing the next OP movie.

I don't really have much time to watch anime these days other than at weekends and I'm already watching a handful of weekly series so even though I don't have to wait a week for each episode I'll probably still never catch up. :P I did download the xith movie which I have been wanting to see, but the subtitles were out of sync so I'm going to have to download it elsewhere. I think I will definitely read the manga eventually, but I don't expect to catch up with that any time soon either. :P When I said bad parts along the way I was referring to fillers. I know I could just skip them but then thats not watching the anime in its entirety, which is what I like to do. Thats why I'd choose the manga over the anime.

On an entirely different note... I discovered that Oasis weren't the only English band to have their song in an anime opening. Speed Grapher uses Duran Duran's 'Girls On Film' for it's second opening. Its actually reeeeeeally good! One of the best openings I have ever seen, infact. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2_nz2K2S4A

Anyway, now we've established Axel will be reading Claymore...
Chapter 97 things to discuss;
I guess it's safe to assume now that Priscilla is much much stronger than the creatures of the abyss, namely Riful seeing as the others are preoccupied with other things. It seemed like a blatent comparison as Riful struggled with Alicia who was supressing her youki and was obviously not awakened whereas Priscilla destroyed Beth who was awakened + had that Luciela/Rafaela pod stuck inside her (she looks badass) so assuming that they are of the same strength, identical twins and all, then Priscilla is a monster (figuratively speaking of course, seeing as they are all monsters lol).
Also, who'd you reckon Priscilla was talking about when she said something about "the scent of that man"? I thought it might be that guy with half of his face exposed who was in the last chapter? Then again it could be Raki but I doubt it since she seems to be on the road to a rampage.

Neversoft
12-11-2009, 01:43 PM
Isn't Alicia number one and Beth number two, though? And Alicia does the fighting while Beth does the controlling. I'd assume Alicia was the strongest.

When Priscilla first mentioned that she had been 'following the remaining weak smell of that man' I thought she was talking about Isley. It could be a bunch of people, but for some reason her and Raki had split from Isley, who was on his own when attacked by the abyssal eaters, so it could be him they were searching for. I don't think its Raki she was talking about. She was hanging around with him just two chapters ago, and I don't think Priscilla would refer to him as 'that man'.

It's widely used to describe 'alchemists' of old who thought they could change the chemical properties of elements to turn them into other elements e.g. turning Lead into Gold. Of course this is impossible.

Surely alchemy is part of chemistry or something, in the sense of using certain materials to create something else?

Or maybe that's just normal chemistry.

Equivalent exchange in Full Metal Alchemist means that to transmute something they have to give something of equal value, hence Al's body and Ed's arm and leg got taken when they tried to revive their mother. What me and Robald are getting at is when Ed and Al transmute small things such as weapons and the radio Al fixes in one of the earlier episodes, what are they giving in return to do that?

He's fixing it, hes not adding to it. So you can move things basically, its not about literally giving something always.

When he fixes the radio, he uses the broken parts... that's equivalent exchange. As Nemo said, alchemy can be used to rearrange. Alchemy consists of breaking something down, re arranging and then rebuilding it to be something else. In all cases of alchemy, bar those used with the aid of the Philosopher's stone, equivalent exchange is used.

Yes, but what about for example, when he makes the flowers for the little girl? or the little dolls they made? Or even the canon he made on top of the train? All he did was draw the circle and then make them. He didn't give anything in return.

The line about giving something in return is quoted at the beginning of every episode so I would have expected it to be put into practice. He only realises he doesn't need the circle later on, but surely he should still have to give something in return?

Axel
13-11-2009, 02:29 PM

Axel

I'm not sure of the exact materials for making a cannon and the exact materials of the train they're riding, but it's meant to be equivalent exchange, the precise exact details don't matter if you just watch it without being so critical.

Neversoft
13-11-2009, 06:43 PM
I'm only critical when watching Hollywood movies, anime isn't suppost to make sense. Seeing as how I haven't seen much of the series and a couple of things myself and Robald have pointed out concerning equivalent exchange don't really make sense, I was just hoping you would be able to fill me in. :P

Southe,
14-11-2009, 12:19 PM
dsent have to make perfect sense and im sure they explain it someway and Ed dosent need to follow the rules of exchange or is only he dosent need to make a circle cant remember still good series. which reminds me need to watch last few eps of brotherhood.

Well naturally if you're going to introduce something like equivalent exchange it should make sense. Things like Spiral Power are the exception to the rule.

Exactly. I'm not being overly-critical. He goes on about all the bad people using alchemy without following the law of equivalent exchange, yet I don't ever see how he gives something. At first I thought maybe it's why people keep dying... I mean how else can you "give" other than someone or something who matters to you dying?

And it's the circle he doesn't need. He still should have to follow the law of equivalent exchange.

Have you guys actually watched it and not thought this? :S

I understand when he makes things out of other things, (fix radio, cannon, turns falling rocks into petals etc), but in the example of giving the girls flowers he just drew a circle and made them out of nothing. I can't think of any more examples but I'm confident there are others.

Also, there's been quite a few bad people so far who ignore the rule of equivalent exchange but nothing happens to them or the world for ignoring it.

Isn't the rule of Equivalent Exchange that to create something you must give something of equal value. Are you saying that when they tried to resurrect their mother they first destroyed her so they could recreate her later? :P

Show me a clip of the flowers, either just a mistake or something logical behind it

@chris. No, the materials to the final product are recreated.

EG.

Have a piece of mud.

Mud is destroyed
Mud is created
Mud is in the final form (eg. a hut)

I can't find a clip and the episodes won't let me skip through.

Basically, how does one "give something in return" and who determines its "value"?

Edit: while I was searching, just came across this, http://www.animefreak.tv/content/fullmetal-alchemist-episode-9 around 16:00 he pours a bag of coins on the ground, but then somehow makes a whole stack of gold (which turns out to be fake), but how did he make so much out of a few coins?

Axel
14-11-2009, 10:05 PM
Ugh, it really isn't that hard to understand. Equivalent exchange is that in order for something to be created, something must be given in return. When it says this, it doesn't mean they literally give something to someone in order to make something. They just use the materials they have, break them down, re assemble and then re create them - that is how alchemy works. Only the people with Philosopher's stones can exploit the rule of equivalent exchange. In the example with making the bars of gold, he didn't make gold - he got a different substance (can't remember what) and then used the gold from the real coins to cover the fake substance to make them look like gold.

Imagine this. Here is a coin -> ||||||||||

Using alchemy, I can rearrange it to stretch it out. _____________________________

Etc.

And in the case of bringing back their mother, they -thought- that gathering the exact components to make an average human body would be equivalent exchange for getting their mother back - but obviously it doesn't just work like that, as humans are believed to have souls - which is how Al can still be in the normal world whilst attached to a suit of armour.

Oh my... I think you have misunderstood me. When I said the rules state something must be given in return I obviously didn't mean something must be psyically given to someone. I meant something of equal value of what they're creating must be used to create it, hence the name equivalent (same value) exchange (given in return).

:eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall :eusa_wall

Robald mentioned earlier that in one of the episodes Ed created some flowers from nothing. This goes against equivalent exchange and we just wondered why Ed was able to do that.

I get the concept, maybe I'm wrong about the flowers example. I'll have to try and find which episode it was and re-watch it. I didn't actually think something had to be physically handed over, I was just trying to express my question better.

Axel

Just seen the new One Piece opening and have to say its just plain annoying :( animation was good but the song just sucks >.>

Alchemy (錬金術 Renkinjutsu) is, as it is understood in the Fullmetal Alchemist series, the ancient metaphysical science/mystical art of manipulating and altering matter by using natural energy. This act is known as "Transmutation" and its sequence is usually described as:

(1) Comprehension - Understanding the inherent structure and properties of the atomic or molecular makeup of a particular material to be transmuted, including the flow and balance of potential and kinetic energy within.

(2) Deconstruction - Using energy to break down the physical structure of the identified material into a more malleable state so as to be easily reshaped into a new form.

(3) Reconstruction - Continuing the flow of energy so as to reform the material into a new shape.

Anyway a podcast i listen to is doing a competition to win stuff. winner gets a choice of "Movie 10 OST or Movie 10 Artbook/ SJ/53 Which will contain Chapter 0 of One Piece" So im after the second prize. Yeah its strange there is no limited edition. The first volume of the manga would have been a nice extra. Although they probably couldn't bundle it with the manga due to licensing issues, since we have to be a part of Europe and Europe has to have so many different languages and licensors. :eusa_wall

Yeah, I actually watched the first four episodes a long time ago, but recently had an urge to watch the rest. I'm only on episode nine at the moment, where Tenma has gone to train with that army guy to learn how to use a gun, but I'm loving it so far. 20th Century Boys is my favourite manga and Monster was created by the same person, so I may be a little biased though. :P I love how they keep swapping between time, like in one episode it'll be five months in the future and you'll wonder whats going on, then suddenly it'll go to a few months before to clear things up. I love that way of backwards storytelling. It definitely reminds me of how Urasawa did 20th Century Boys and I can see influences left, right and center. Reminds me of the way Baccano was done a little too. The mystery aspect is fantastic as well. Maybe not 20th Century Boys standard, but I'm still engrossed. I'll definitely watch Monster too the end. Can't wait to see how things develop.

Even if that was intended as a joke, it's so true. I'm hyped for christmas all year 'round.

Tokyo Godfathers is a movie about a group of three homeless people (a man, a drag queen and a teenage girl) who find an abandoned baby on Christmas Eve. They decide to look for the babies parents seeing as christmas is a time to be with your family n'all and embark on an epic adventure. The best christmas movie ever made in my opinion, and also one of the best anime movies. Period.
you had me at drag queen.

Someone on YouTube recommended me to watch Inuyasha.
I've always thought it as a Naruto meets Sailor Moon series.
I dont know if I should.
