Non-Habbo light skin?

Well, there was THIS (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=534588) poll like ages ago, but we still don't have one.

Just wondering what happened to this, and if it is still going to happen? :(

I was sort of 'butted out' from skin making...why can't chief skinner aka Bomb-head make one?

Somewhat ironically, I PMed someone and spoke to someone about this earlier today. Seeing as me and Ollie have/are doing CHF one I wondered whether HxF wanted one too :P

But yeah, It would definitely be nice to have a light skin. I don't like using the Habbo ones and the Non-Habbo is too dark

I think if Habbox is gunna have one at all it shouldnt be the default looking crap. Here's the previews Ollie posted on CHF of the skin we (devotedesigns) are doing for ClubHabbo;

The design reminds me of the penguinclub thing my little cousin used to play.

EDIT: That's not criticism, just a general comment lmao. Its very good graphics and coding, just the look reminds me of penguinclub.

Yeah a lot of HxF'ers are generally older than CHF members. Xarea designed, I coded ;p www.devotedesigns.com ;)

Still, my point is that a unique skin that doesn't look like the default vb template is good :P

I think our light non-habbo skin should be professional, and for an older audience. The habbo ones are for the younger audience.

I remember trying to make one and just couldn't get the right colour scheme or anything, course Habbox like to keep the skin alongside the default vBulletin layout to make upgrading the forums easier.

However, with vb4 on the horizon it may just be worth putting skinning efforts into the Beta release of that so when it's released in full and hopefully put onto this forum, it will have some skins ready (as all the skins here now will have to be scrapped).

The earliest BETA of V4 isn't even out yet, then it will be another few months before Gold etc, by the time a stable final version is ready it will be autumn+
