The speakers on my TV suck, so I went to Best Buy today and got Harman Kardon 5.1 surround sound speaker set, Harman Kardon receiver and Harman Kardon speaker stands! Now I need to figure out how to set it up!
I went with Harman Kardon because it was on-sale and my moms BMW has a Harman Kardon sound system in it and it sounds awesome! I'll post pics later!

Do you have a picture of the remote? :P
My own dislike about that brand is the name, it doesn't look at all appealing on the front of the speakers and so on, names with brackets in the middle never are. But they look good all the same :)

I can't find my camera but I think I will get an all-in-one remote to control it all!

Now get a Logitech Harmoney remote, they are kick-ass.
Also, IMHO, Blu-Ray players are a waste of monday, PS3 FTW.

I'm thinking about a Harmony, but IDK yet.
I only paid like 150 for the BD player, so it was a lot less than a PS3, and I would never use the PS3

Ah fair enough, I like the Harmony remote, especially good for lazy people like me who can't be bothered to change inputs on the TV, Media thingy (forgot the name) xD and turn on the device LOL.

With this set-up the DVR and Blue-Ray player plug into the receiver and then there is one HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV, so the receiver has to be on for the whole thing to work.
I have to do some cable management in the near future because it's driving me MAD.
