View Full Version : I don't recommend the Advanced Diploma in IT

Its one of them new Diplomas they are doing. However, if you want to do IT, then I don't recommend it. There is more business than IT (Finance, Projects, Communication etc..).

Secondly, the assignments are poorly written. Half of the assignments (Written by Edexcel) have things that could mean different things, or just don't make sense in general.

And just to top it off, one of their example papers (Preparation for the exam) was wrong!

So the Diploma is poorly organized, and the people at Edexcel don't know what they're doing.

I have so much faith at the moment! :rolleyes:

Edexcel are always abit rubbish. AiDA and DiDA are 'worth' alot more than they really are imo.

I wouldn't recommend any diploma if you wanna go to uni, lol.

Oh and DiDA etc and all that piss are worth nothing. My college didn't even recognise it as a qualification. The only reason schools teach it is because it is potentially worth like 5 GCSEs so if pupils get them then it looks good in league tables.
