Hi I'm interested in buying a Blackberry, probably the Curve. I'm wondering if anyone can find me the best deal I can get on contract. Probably just minutes for less than £30 if that is acceptable, I'm not sure because it's a new phone. So if anyone can help me it will be a big thanks.

This may be a silly question, but i'm guessing you want the latest (8900)?

Oh i'm not upto scratch with these blackberries >_> just heard everyone talking about these 'curves' :P

Best i've found so far is the Curve 8900, it is £35 per month slightly higher than you wanted, however the phone is free plus you get Unlimited Data.

18 months contract
1000 texts / 600 mins
Blackberry Unlimited Data

Your contracted to it for 24 months.

So basically you have to pay 30£ for 24 months.

But im on a 24 month contract with orange and they said to me after 12 months if they have a lower tariff so if it was 15£ i could switch to that after 12 months for the remaining 12 months. Youd probably have to ask instore though.

Imo? Yes.

But it depends because its 500 texts 600 minites.

My contract is unlimited texts 200 minites [Thats enough minites for me]

But if you use minites more than texts and if you arnt going to go over then its perfect for what you need.

So only get it if you arnt going to go over. But if you ask in-store they might be able to get you a better deal anyway.

Ah ok.

And going back to that 'contracted for 24 months' - does this mean I wouldn't be able to take it back if I get bored of it after, say.. 3 months?

Also don't overlook the o2 deal...

it's only 18 Months so half a year less, only £5 more a month BUT your getting an Unlimited dataplan also, and slightly more minutes/texts.

Yes but unless your going to use all of the texts / minites a month it is useless, Depends how much he uses it.

I think the best deal for me would be like.

Unlimited Internet Access
300 Minutes
100 Texts lol

is this possible?

(sorry for slow replies, I'm doing P.E revision)

Yes, but then you'd have to pay for the phone itself

Best thing to do is go into town and go into different phone shops and ask.

They do different deals to suit each individual person in shops like phones for you and carphone warehouse.

Some advice;

Carphone warehouse, phones4u etc, to easilly be put are 'Middle-men' now sometimes it appears they offer better deals because they get bulk discount from the providers(o2, orange etc).

What i've found is if for example phones4u are doing a great deal on a o2 phone, then goto o2 directly and tell them about it and 90% of the time they will match it/better it.

I much prefer going direct, however thats a personal preference so it's upto you.
