Computer chipmaker Intel has been fined a record 1.06bn euros ($1.45bn; £948m) by the European Commission for anti-competitive practices.

So they're successful, big deal. Microsoft and Apple may aswell collect fines and play swapsies. Most companies take advantage of their positions to keep their position, it's called business. AMD aren't usually favoured by people anyway :/

I find it quite funny how the EU will fine anyone for any little bit of money.

This fine from the EU is fair, but the stupid Microsoft ones aren't. They do some good they do some bad. But mostly bad.

seriously, the EU are apsulute scum, they do nothing for us appart from take 40 million out of tax payers money a single day in costs!

To be honest, its not fair EU have find them. People have just been choosing them for years, it's not intel's fault that everybody nearly wants them insted of AMD.
