When people say that drinking loads of water makes you feel better and makes your skin look better, does that include flavoured water?

Nope. Tap water is better than anything in terms of feeling/looking better, then bottled water. Flavoured water has additives (sp) and sugar in it so isn't is exactly as healthy as people say just because it's water. Tap water is pure so it's gonna be better than anything unless you live in a crap area with sewage. The stuff in flavoured water can actually harm your body.

If you find water full of sugar healthy then I'd say yes

This reminds me of summin i found out in Chem, white bread is actually healthier than brown bread even though people say it aint, in the factories they add loads of minerals to white bread so yeah, healthier.

AND to answer your Q, normal water is healthier

Isn't spring water/mineral water or whatever purer than tap water?

I'm pretty sure tap water is the purest, bottled water often contains stuff you can just get from the tap anyway lol even though tap water is seen as contaminated it's actually more naturally healthy for you aslong as you don't live in poverty stricken places.

Plus sugar, salt and the fact it's processed carbs.

I don't get what people are talking about, Volvic flavoured water doesn't have any surgar in it. Hense why it says "sugar free" on the bottle. It does contain citric acid and they do say spring water is better than tap. So yeah I think there equal.

Bottled water or tap water dont contain stuff like calories, while the volvic sugar free stuff etc does.

I'm not bothered about the additives, I just want to know if it will have the same effect. Like calories aren't going to prevent my skin from looking better are they? :S

It's fine, you have to have a certain amount of sugar a day anyway so drinking flavoured water is fine, you wont get sick or unhealthy as long as you don't go too much over the recommended daily amount it's all good.

Tap water in London can contain cocaine, sewage, parasites and vermin in watertanks.

There is a machine that cuts everything out and levels pH levels. It becomes as pure to H20 as possible.

Read the bottle. You do get some flavoured water that's still good for you. In the long run, you won't see a difference because plain water is boring = drinking it less whereas flavoured water is nice = drink it more!

:D

Bottled, tap, flavoured and squash are all fine, provided you take the squash side of things in moderation - it has sugar in there, but the way people go on about it does look like it's floating in sugar (when really, they're talking about the bottle on its own, forgetting you have to mix it with water -.-) Read labels if you feel so strongly about flavoured and squash.

Saw some news thing, everyone's calling for better labels to be put onto bottled water so that we can see the difference between that and tap water, and why we pay so much more for it. Gooood
