buzz refers to a creature that buzz. So buzzing creature = wasp/bee -> they have stingers -> the icon is a stinger?

Where the white stripes are, make it black? Or make the Buzz orange and the red stripes orange, because it's confusing =]

It's red and black because they are the colours of the new layout design. It's to represent the sting of a bee/wasp and it kinda also looks like a 'transmission'.

I don't like how the Z is raised.

I like the little stinger, but maybe it has better use elsewhere.

I think the sting may be more suited above the S if it's tweaked, as the curves correspond with eachother
