I've been working on another layout, and at the moment this is the general outcome.
Once again, I might be releasing this coded for free if people seem to find it interesting.

Any criticism is most welcome, and will certainly be taken on board, as I'll be modifying it according to ideas that are produced.

+rep on offer to constructive criticism!

Please note the stripes are a watermark, and will be removed upon release.

To me it looks abit plain..

However, good job on it.

It's a bit more corporate and professional than some other layouts, so I understand where you're coming from there; but I'll be releasing a few more vibrant templates in the future.

Thanks for your comments.

It has potential, and does look great at this moment - the text is just too big. Try making the font size smaller, then repost the updated image. :)

Please clear your browser cache, and view the new update in the spoiler.

Thanks, I've introduced smaller text, however once released, it's all modifiable anyway.
A few other minor changes are also in there now.

Thanks for your criticism.

Much better now, but I do think that the small lines to the left and right of the navigation should be removed. :)

Ah, I thought the separators would be quite useful, but I'll look into finding a way around them.

Incase you're thinking of the wrong thing, I meant these:

That looks very nice! Not a fan of the giant diagonal transparent thingoz though.

EDIT: LOL nevermind. ;D

Can't edit my last post now, but I also noticed the buttons. They look wrong in some way - maybe make the text smaller on the buttons? :)

I don't think the diagonal watermarks will fly at school :D
Though if you want the PNG you are free to purchase it exclusively before a free release may be made.

Hate to double post, sorry.

An update has been applied, just view in the spoiler again.
Smaller button text, no layout separation.

I think I'll probably have this coded and released now, as I see no reason not to.
Look forward to a free XHTML, CSS layout soon :)

Looks gray, plain and boring.
Try making it colorful, and it'll look better.

To substite the lines either side of the nav, use a transparent gradient to merge it into the lower content.

Yes, the background is quite plain, however sometimes plain can equal professional? Cus if you had like big BLUE AND YELLOW COLOURS (HOORAY) it would like chidlish, and pretty silly. Which is good depending on what kind of website it really is...

And I like the size of the text, actually, it stands out and it's not one of those things when you glance at it and it's really small font, and you just cba to read it. So yeah, it looks OK.

Thanks, I agree with you there.
I'm currently looking for a coded, so if anyone is willing to do so please name your prices via PM and we'll work something reasonable out.
