How To Count?

How do we know or make a pix in a certain length. For ex. 35px x 35px. Was that meaning tht I need to count the grid box? Isnt there any other way? Its hard to count the box cos it makes my eyes blurr... Any help from pro?

In ms paint when you drag the box to choose the size, just look at the bottom right corner and it'll say what size your currently dragging it too.
