Shirt & Ties.

I need a stylish shirt and tie for my prom. I have a black pinstripe suit.

Any colours that go nice? I went to few shops in town but there all a bit simple. I want something WOW and stylish.

Whatever you do don't go for a black shirt and red tie, that's the emo 2007 look and it's always been pretty hideous. A lavender shirt is a bit different but not so wild that you'll look a fool -

And the tie colour for that is pretty interchangable as long as you don't get anything too clashing, it's smart enough for a prom but different enough not to make you look like the idiot in a tux thinking he's well pimp

I wore a light blue shirt with a skinny(ish) black tie. It looked alright.

Try going for a kinda whitey light coloured tie, if you are wearing the black suit.

QFT. Black shirts with a black suit are a no. I can only see them working with a light grey pinstripe and only for an informal occasion.
