I'll acknowledge the existance of the Operating System, Keyboard/Mouse & Hard Drive when it comes to when I've got all of these. I don't want to see how much this will all cost xDDD But yeah, what do you guys think, any problems or changes I should make to these choices?

Thats not bad for only like £596(something)... plus a 22'' screen is always nice to have :).

all seems decent but please change the PSU, Arctic Power are abit hit and miss and im sure you wouldnt want your new system blowing up?

Get a Coolermaster, OCZ or Asus for example

Overclocking - you need another cooler.

I maybe wrong as it is a new graphics card but 700W is a bit over-kill anyway isn't it?

Then 620w is overkill for a Q6600 and an 8800GT xD

You can get better RAM for cheaper. Your motherboard is overkill for the processor and the rest of the computer. At your budget you'd be much better off buying an AMD based system.

I'm with you on this one. I know I seem like an AMD fanboy, but seriously for the cheaper systems they proove to offer better specifications for the price.

Also, Pentium dual core is a bit outdated isn't it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103674 - Yes please!

Pentium D's and Pentium Dual Cores aren't the same. Pentium Dual Cores are quite new.

I'm most likely to get a Quadcore instead of Dualcore, its in the mix. But I bought the new case and I'm gonna get an arctic PSU. Also got the GFX card, so right now I can change it to AMD if I need to.

Cheers guys

Im not really a AMD fan, I would recommend Intel CPU and Quad core (Q6600) if you must :)

Right I've changed the specification... quite a bit actually.

Bolded are the changes I've made, but it's pretty good still. I bought the keyboard and mouse meaning that I only have to pay £410 more until the whole system is properly working. I'm not going to buy the processor till last because I'm thinking of changing the processor, its a swaying decision.

Operating System I already have, so yeah. £410 quid. Not so bad? :P

You're welcome to it. :P Just got the case today, it's pretty beautiful.

All my mates have Artic Cooling power supplies, they learnt their lessons with the Value PSU's which killed their mobos. They say its the most reliable, so yeah. :] Ill take my chances!

Arctic Cooling are alright, but I would always recommend Corsair PSUs. You also need to look at the power on the rails etc though, so get those checked on a PSU you choose, I don't know anything about power on the rails in the CPU etc, but im sure someone on here will do.

On the rails... CLARIFY PLEASE? :S

I'm not sure how big a factor it is, but on PSUs more power goes to some cables than others for like the graphics card etc.. I don't know much about that bit but someone can clarify.

I don't think its a big deal.
