Hey, I want to download windows 7 over my existing windows Vista machine.
The only thing is i dont have a CD/DVD Rewritter, so i can burn the disk.
Although i do have a memory stick from which i can add the Windows 7 files to. My question is,
Can i download windows 7 to my Memory Stick, and install windows 7 that way?
Thanks for any help.

go on microsoft.com and download the RC1, you would probably have to downloaded the home premium 32bit(x86) version.

Worked fine with me and my external hdd, which is the same.
Get Virtual Clone Drive -> Mount the ISO -> Run setup.exe -> Select partition -> DONE

Same I did this on my MSI Wind U100 but just used my external to burn it to disc.
Best thing for all you fellow netbook users is to get an external DVD/CD drive, it's well worth it. ;)
Just a tip, if you are a gaming player (MMORPGS, FPS etc) then using Windows 7 isn't recommend. Browser games are fine.

team fortress works fine for me.
team fortress works fine for me.
Some games do but others don't because the companies refuse to make it compatible with Windows 7 until its fully released. E.g Most of gameguards games etc.

Or if you are a netbook user testing different OS's, a memory stick is much better, you can use them the same way you would use a live CD. :D

No sir, you would use a lighter/open flame.
Or use a CD burner, but for what reason does an Xbox CD have to come into a discussion about Windows 7?
Goon.
