Try listening to music or work yourself out one day until you're really tired.

you have to work out or do things that keeps your brain really working otherwise if you laze around you arent tired. like my dog haha she hates going on walks so she barely excersizes and sleeps for an hour wakes up an hour goes back to sleep etc etc

Get your sleeping pattern back to 'normal' - Avoid sleeping tablets.

Going on your laptop / computer isnt the besttt thing to be doing, especially if your in a dark room. Try reading, or doing something relaxing but not too strenuous on your eyes.

Sleep in pitch blackness, if you've got lights of the TV etc sometimes you won't be able to sleep, but if not sleep with some TV sound on so you can fall asleep :P

Well you could try Nytol for a couple of nights. They can be bought at the chemist and are not addictive. I use them sometimes when I go through a patch of sleeping problems.

It's very likely to be because you are sitting around all day/not working hard etc. I know that if I have a lazy day and sit in watching tv, at night I'm just not tired, But if I go out and mess about doing any active things then I actually want to go to bed and fall asleep almost straight away. But if it comes to it then some brandy/whiskey helps.
