Is it me or do the Black Eyed Peas really suck?

Am I the only one that thinks this? Is it me or have they, for the past few years, just constantly released a load of overrated unlistenable and therefore unenjoyable noise? I especially hate their ridiculous lyrics which suggest an ego bigger than a skyscraper, "I'm so 3 thousand and 8, your so 2 thousand and late" I mean what the hell is this?
I especially hate "Fergie". Not only does she have a voice that sounds like razor nails scratching off razor blackboards but she also has a face for the radio. She doesn't even have the voice for the radio either! She seems to be at the heart of all this enormous self obsession, I hate the video where they're all in an underground car park fighting some other guys and all Fergie does is swoosh her hair about like the blithering hussy that she is and about 3 of the men go down like they've just been hammered by Mike Tyson. Ridiculous.
Then there's that William arse with his dreadlocks who appears out of nowhere and starts kicking a bloody football at people while singing about how amazing and brilliant him and the rest of his anything but amazing and brilliant band are. And I also hate that little Hispanic guy. In fact, I hate them all, and any "musical" utterances that come out as a result of them getting together to make a single. :eusa_wall

I like them, but I don't like their new album. I agree on hating on Fergie, she really can't sing. I think that Will.I.Am guy is the only good one in the band.

I gotta admit that I was listening to them the other day at my mates house & they've got a few good songs like "Hey Mama" & "Shut Up" but alot of their stuff is really crap. Especially the new album.

all the singles from there first album was good, and every song on there 2nd album were amazing, especially the singles. people saying i hate there new stuff can only judge on one song (boom boom pow) which i think is pretty crap anyway. There next single I gotta Feelin is really good though. And whoever said i hate there new album.. what the one that was released 4 years ago? or the one that isn't even out yet :P

They've got worse. However it's hard to top the first album they did with fergie and they're work before fergie joined. Also on American Idol the other night she sounded so much like Megan I was like what is this :S Nothing like her voice post edit.

well most people have a really bad taste in music, because most people are just casual music fans. charts are a horrible measure for how "good" a song is.

Hmm, as of the thread, I don't think they're that bad but their old songs definitely were better. On a side note, I do agree that 'boom boom pow' fails more than slightly.

Yes, thats your opinion, but its not fact. I dont think BEP themselves would think this song has failed, along with alot of other people..

Fair enough if you think all there new stuff is crap.. but they have only released one official single as of yet :S
All the other singles are just promo/buzz ones, except 'I Gotta Feeling', which is their second single and one of their best ever, reminds me of 'Dont Lie' and has an awesome summer feeling too it.

Can't wait for 'The E.N.D' to be released :eusa_clap

I actually really like Boom Boom Pow, but I'll admitt at first I didn't really like it. To be fair, Boom Boom Pow is much better when you hear it in a nightclub; it's not really radio freindly. Saying that, the past few No.1 tracks have been more night club tracks ie. Number 1 and Bonkers.

Yeh Fergie can sing and she is better off herself. I dont really like the new song that much its nothing special thier old music was good.
