View Full Version : FA Cup Final

Frank Lampard has given Chelsea a boost by declaring himself fit for Saturday's FA Cup final against Everton.

The England midfielder sat out last week's win over Sunderland with a knock but will start at Wembley, with Alex and Juliano Belletti (virus) also fit.

Everton have also received good news on the injury front, with Phil Neville and Steven Pienaar fully fit following recent worries over hamstring problems.

That should enable David Moyes to deploy his favoured 4-5-1 formation.

The 128th FA Cup final, the 75th to be held at Wembley, pits two of England's form sides against each other.

Who do you think will win?

Hope chelsea win like this:

Everton batter them the whole game
chelsea get a pen which wasnt a pen in the last min
lampard scores the pen and runs infront of the everton fans.

I think Everton could, for the simple fact they're the underdogs. They'll be trying alot more in the game than Chelsea, because its like a one-off opportunity for Everton!

Found thism sums it up really:
You‘re off to Wembley with your “Tell Me Ma’s”
Blue plastic flags sticking out of your cars
Your second favourite team has just lost in Rome
If you lose on Saturday it’s a long journey home.
With your stupid blue wigs you’re off to the smoke
Moyes, manager of the year, what an absolute joke.
Reaching one cup final and you think that you’re great,
But since you last won 1 we have won eight.

Two trips to Wembley, the best days of your lives
But whenever you lose you beat up your wives
It must be so cold always living in our shadow
But to get anywhere near us you’ve a long way to go
A proper cup final - oh what can you say
You normally only have them on derby day
We’ve got 18 league titles 5 European cups
You dance on your pitch for just staying up

Fourteen years without any glory
You say if it wasn’t for Heysel it’d be a different story
Smith, Harvey, Walker, just who do we thank
You’re so *Removed* sad – You’re captain’s a Manc.
“*Removed* off to Norway” is that the best you can do
Songs about Gerrard and other sick chants too.
Clattenberg, Collina and Graham Poll
Have helped to ensure that you’ve still won **** all

Not sure who I hate more – you or Man U
I’m just so bleedin happy my dad wasn’t a blue
Imagine no Cardiff, Dortmund or Rome
No Turkey, no Paris and no Anfield Home
I’d have to make do with a ground made of wood
Obstructed with posts though that might be good
It means that it’s hard to watch all your game
Though seasons of misery must just be the same

Once a blue was what Rooney said
But it didn’t take long until United he head.
The same Man United you offer welcoming mats
Due to the fact that you’re all bitter *****
You’re just a small club and you deserve some of our pity,
But can’t wait for the day when it’s one club in the city
They’re all the facts and they’re plain to see
So do us a favour and *Removed* off to Kirkby.

It's a shame liverpool fans, have to spend all their hours thinking about Everton's journey to Wembley isn't it.

Then again your season was over about 3 weeks ago, so i suppose they do have nothing else better to do.

and that poem makes no sence, mainly cuz Anfield used to be our home, so its older than Goodison and that was Everton's first home?!?! lmao were only a small club, yet Everton got into a final and Liverpool didn't this year (2 including the Youth Cup)?!?!

oh yeah thats right we knocked you out

If it was older it would have been made of wood.

I'm so proud of Everton, when we scored early on I always knew it was game over, you don't try and hang on against Chelsea with 1 minute gone on the clock.Hibbert, Osman and Lescott were out played, while we missed Arteta and Jagielka to create the sparks in the team.

Neville didn't look like a leader, appart from a few tackles. He and Everton looked like they had conceded defeat at 1-1

I'm so proud of the Blues this year, beating teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Boro and not forgetting Macclesfield

and our fans did Everton proud, we was even out-singing Chelsea fans when the final whistle went :)

I wasn't calling outsinging Chelsea hard, they go to a final every year. So obviously we would be more up for the game - I'm sure not many other teams would outsing another team's fans after they had just lost a final.

You obviously don't know alot then. When I went to Goodison last season your fans were embarrasing, didn't even sing when they were 3-0 up.

Seriously, they sang once all game which was the Arteta song or something. We sang the whole match while loosing 3-0, abused them all match and they didn't even sing back haha.
