GoodLuck, Save images as .PNG!

Obviously Suzie wants it to be cross browser compatible. If a person uses IE 6 or lower then PNG would not work correctly due to transparency issues.

Do yourself a simple test put your images at PNG then do this test http://tools.pingdom.com

then do them as jpg and do same test

look at the difference in the loading seconds etc of each image.

Could you explain your signature? It doesn't really make sense.

I will code layouts in Ajax, Divs, Expandable or basic

Layouts are coded with html... Styled with css. Ajax components can be implemented to offer a more suer friendly interface. Layouts aren't "coded in ajax".

I dont like it... no... I hate it. The grey just makes it look completely ugly to start out with, and then you have the dropdown navigation boxes which is completely crap and shoddy looking AND THEN you have the radio up top which looks like its been stuffed up there because you ran out of room inside the main content area. The font sizes are pretty inconsistent too making it look crap(per).

The header of the website isnt even that obvious, since its this little box near the top... Normally the header will be at the top of the page, not the radio. Heres an idea, why don't you just design some AJAX code so that you can embed the radio to appear somewhere on the page which isn't too intrusive?! Just to have an extra bit of a moan, the graphics and the content structure in the whole website is pretty crap too. Freewebs would've been a better option, better design, layout... website...

Don't like it either, it looks too much like you've tried to squash everything together and the navigation menu is awful with the drop down

Its not bad at all, just change the font colour because grey on grey = big no. People will immediately switch off e.g. me, if the text isnt very easy to read.

And in all honestly, having looked at it for a second time, I thought it looks a bit like those hacking sites. Change the colour to something bright, orange or blue. Background colour that is.

If your refering to my post then I have a job thankyou. I was simply pointing out a misunderstanding that she obviously has. People should be corrected if wrong so that they can learn.

Designed by someone who can't design, coded by someone who knows absolute nothing about what she is coding.
Well done! habbohotelfm is still as backwards and useless with implementation and effort as well as content and radio muppets as it was a year ago, you are going nowhere, faster than ever. Be proud.

Oh hey I just finished reading the thread I see you still have your goons that have about as many brain cells as the count of black people in alabama, combined.

So here's the real deal:
1) PNG files don't "make things load slower", although your tiny minds are unable to comprehend the glory that is portable network graphics, I will still go ahead and explain it whilst listening to some very fabulous music by the chums that are "The Echoing Green" on Spotify.

PNG files are awesome and should always be used for small web graphics that aren't animated. To hell with ie6, you can get a fix that can be slapped in there to fix that right up.

Photoshop and Paint, by default, make pngs bloated piles of ****, open up photoshop, click file, then "Save for web", choose png-24 or whatever it's called these days and watch those KiBs drop right off! Magic I know!

2) You can't code a website in Ajax, expandables or whatever useless words you are using, you can code a website using your fingers, a keyboard and a nifty language (not like English!) called "HTML", it's what almost every website in the world is built in! Some clever cookies use XML, but we wont get in to that today, maybe later.

There we go children, now run along and let my superior intellect dazzle you in all aspects of web developing. Because I know the real deal caused by the motion of wheels.

Oh holy bear, once again you have enlightened the world and said a lot of what I was about to moan about. Damn you for that, but my fingers are tired so thank you!
Also if you want slow then use 24bit BMP and then moan or use tiff...

Also CSS is WAAAY better than ajax to code an entire site in! :P
