Since the Sims 3 is out now, why don't we have a thread to show off our houses and decorations :D
I'll post some later.

The fountain image is of a downloadable town :) The one you get with the game, Sunset Valley, has a huge Central Park, while the downloadable one has a long, thin one. I sort of recognise it from that picture, could be wrong though.

Im sorry but what is 'Collectors Edition' ?

The collectors edition has a strategy guide, Plumbob USB stick and some other not-so-great stuff LOL.
I wouldn't mind the USB stick though.

I'll post mine later, they're very poor at the moment... even though I married Holly Alto. ;(

The game will set the default that your PC can take, I doubt your PC will handle it much better.
I love the fact you can grow your own ingredients in your garden and then use them to cook food :) My aim in life is to become the top chef.
Hawly **** those graphics look awesome :D Thanks Tawm.
I miss the high res screenshot thread :(

I'm having trouble getting use to the buttons. I can't build houses like I could on Sims 2.
And my computer is a beast, it should run in good graphics.
If you want to take loads of images without going to paint and saving then there is a program called FSScreen. Which is used for Flight Simulator users as its so easy. You just press prtscreen when you want to take a picture and it will save it for you without you doing anything.

Same as Sims 2 then :P
I'm fairly sure games don't set themselves to the level your computer can take... Usually they go for the lower to mid-range graphics and settings, so you choose for yourself :)
I miss rain on this :( I hope they make an expansion for weather and seasons.

Yeh it is a really good game. I bought the limited edition one, and the women at game gave me the pre-order pack aswell :D.
Pre-order pack
- £6's worth of simpoints.
- 2 Limited edition cars.
- Tip, trick & guide book.
- Map of the city.
Limited Edition
- Sims 3 game.
- 2Gb sims diamond memory stick.
- Nice box.
It is a brilliant game and I recommend downloading it instead of getting the crack, and remember to turn your graphics settings up for the maximum gaming experience :).

I like that too :) Getting jobs is easier too, just click a workplace and join :P Better than poking a computer or newspaper.
Does anyone know how to download the Italian Car? It says I need to register, but it doesn't give an option for people who have already registered... Or maybe I already have it? What is its name? That maybe of use :P

Dno I don't play Sims 3 too much, it's a bit of a let down imo.
