Room with a View

Hey guys,

Good to see the Competitions department is still running smoothly!!

I was just taking a look at the Room with a View competition and saw Shibz22's post. It said something like: "Lol - it would cost you more to make the room than the prize given."

I couldn't agree more with the post. A competition like RwaV requires a big prize - 5 club sofas at least, so that anything that anybody does make is worth their while, and so there's an incentive to make the room in the first place.

I have always kept Room with A View prizes at 2HC as that is the prize I remembering it being back in the day. I understand your point that it would cost more and therefore the prize will be reviewed as soon as possible.

Just to add to this thread, that particular competition was an expensive one, that should also be noted when they are being thought up, if your asking for a posh, expensive theme, that will cost, but if your asking for a lake or something similar, a blue rug, couple of ducks. If the prize slightly increased that would be more suitable.
