How comes we can't see the thread we just posted? On other forums I use, we can...

Yeah, you mean when you post in a thread and go to new posts it's not there until someone else posts in it aswell? Been like that for a while, same how it used to be 8 pages of search results and only 4 now :'( I prefer it like this actually because then I can see older threads after looking in the newer ones if that makes sense.

Don't know why you would want to see it on new post till there was a new post in it? :S

Don't know why you would want to see it on new post till there was a new post in it? :SBecause half the time I don't think the threads posted.

Yeah it used to be like that, I wish they'd change it back because I use new post function to browse the forum.

When you click submit it redirects you to your submitted thread from the page of creating it. So i don't see how you are not aware if your threads are created or not.

If you've viewed a thread, the forum logs it as a read post. Since when you post, as yoshi pointed out, it loads the thread you created, the forum now assumes that you have read that thread and will not consider it new until there are new posts.

Hate to break it to you, but it doesn't seem to do that for me.

That is what it does. You won't see the thread on new posts after you posted there but you will see it as soon as someone else posts. I wish the forum would count my post as a new post though like it used to so I could see what I've just posted in. It does on every other forum I use and used to on here too.

I think it's to do with the upgrade somehow.

Been like it for a while. I preferred it how it was but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
