Sounds good, I won't be upgrading though, doesn't sound like there's anything groundbreaking.

How do I update Windows 7 via a fresh (newer) .iso?

How do I update Windows 7 via a fresh (newer) .iso?

Mount it using something like magic iso or daemon tools or extract it using WinRAR and run setup.exe.

Wouldn't that completely over-write my 7 partition though?

If you already have 7 installed and it's also 86 you can just use WinRar to un-rar the ISO file than open the setup.exe file and when the installer opens click 'Upgrade' rather then 'Custom' and it will upgrade you to the new build without removing any data.

But you have to be running the same version as the one your upgrading to in this case it would be x86.

I can't remember if this is it, but at some point the leaked builds stop working with RC keys.

RTM escrow is getting v.near if not already reached.

I hope RTM gets leaked, it really only takes someone on technet to upload it and for someone to crack it. Then we're all good (On the assumption it will be on technet).

Or you could buy the software legally since for once I would say it is worth buying.
