On most of the skins the images got deleted. So you kinda had like a white background while browsing the forum.

Between 11pm - 12pm Jin deleted something that caused most of the skins to go weird. I think they where all broke apart from the classic forum skin.

it was before he deleted, tbh i don't see much of a difference between speed by removing it

It's not speed really, it's server load (admittedly it can impact speed - but they're different). The server loads are usually really high from what I see when I login to the Moderator Control Panel :P
