Hi

My parent's thinking of getting the new Panasonic Viera NeoPDP 600mhz tv's, and they asked me to search around.
They want the 42" one, and, i'm just confused with the ammount of model numbers there is...

So can someone help me, find the right one and what the prices generally are?

Thanks
Luke

Go on cnet.com, they've probably reviewed every high end TV there is so you should be able to find what you need.

Which model(s) are you looking at? There's the G10, G15 and V10 as far as I can tell. I highly recommend Panasonic TVs by the way. http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_GB/287749/module/general/compare/products/displayResult.html?p=TX-P42V10&p=TX-P42G15&p=TX-P42G10

I tihnk we're looking for G10 or G15, and maybe V10 (all them i know) if it's not too steep a climb in price.

And yeh, we've currently got an old Panasonic Viera, never let me down once ;]

Yeah, I've got a Panasonic LCD in my room and it's brilliant.

I'd say get the G10, the V10 doesn't seem worth the extra money. The only obvious differences to me (other than visual differences) are the V10 having an extra HDMI, a LAN port and a slightly different sound processing system. I can't really find the G15 for sale anywhere?

I recommend John Lewis because of the free 5 year guarantee which is awesome - I initially had a problem with my TV (my fault, I broke something - I didn't tell them that, just pretended it was like that always) and they just happily exchanged it for a brand new one without even checking it. John Lewis also price match, so if you decided on the V10 they should price match Currys which has it cheaper.

Have a look at this forum. It helped me when I was getting my TV.

I always recommend going and having a look at TVs to see if you really like them or not. It's what you think is a nice picture/picture you want to watch, not just what the specs say.
