A US web monitoring firm has declared the millionth English word to be Web 2.0, a term for the latest generation of web products and services.

Saw this just earlier today.. I see it won the top spot over "N00b", "Slumdog" and "Jai ho".. :P

It's not "official" until its in the Oxford English dictionary.

In that US research company's eyes I could say "weiofheu89h" was a word because I have used it once.

This! Unless it's in the Oxford dictionary, it's not real in any way. Stupid firms generating hype that's not even justified.
