It does the job. Connection can randomly drop, but that's because I have the reciever plugged into the back and the signal generally has to find a way through the case, a desk, a chair and possibly around a bed.

I recommend it though.

Minor bug bears are the left and right click buttons are very "clickety" and the batteries will run out fairly quick if it's under heavy use. I've only had to change the batteries once since I got it in January but it's only had very light use.

Sims you may get away with. It's just a small device, so would be difficult to comfortably use for long periods of time imo as it would have to be on your knee all the time.

I recommend it anyhow, and how you use it is up to you.

I happen to know that
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/104608# that one as previously posted
i used when building a flight sim at my local ATC sqn and, i also klnow, that RAF Linton-on-ouse uses it for their sim as well.

(These are basic sims with 4 22" monitors and cockpit type area (think it's simbuild or somit)), and it works brilliantly, out the way etc.

You could use the Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 7000 or 8000, it doesn't have a full touch pad but it does have a small one, you can also use buttons to control the mouse on it...
