This is more of a funny news story.

A lady decided to get rid of her Mothers old tatty matress, as she thought she was doing her mother a favour.
As it turned out the Mother had actually stored her life savings in the matress with out telling anyone.
police are now searching in rubbish dumps for a matress with over 1.6 million dollars inside.

Hasn't the Mum ever heard of a bank?

But still, that's alot of money, the matress would of weighed ALOT and wouldn't bend as much. How stupid can that daughter be?! Seriously, I would disown my child if she was that stupid, in every context of the word stupid (not noticing and removing something without my consent).

If the house had of caught fire and the mattress went up in flames, how would she prove that it was ever there? She would of lost it forever. I bet a tramp has found the money anyway, either that or a tramp is sleeping on the mattress without knowing what's inside.

Lol! Good luck getting that back if someone finds it their bound to keep it themselves. I bet that woman wanted to throw a chair at her daughter for doing that but I would of been pissed but than again I wouldn't be stupid enough to hide stuff in my mattress if I didn't trust banks would of had to of find a better place than that :P
