Build me a desktop, for under £300/350.

Capable of everyday stuff, burning ect.

Fast, not slow, can run Vista and stuff.

Thanks.

+rep to all entries.

I would advise using the se7en RC for now and then buy the retail copy when it comes out, rather than wasting money on vista...

I will have a look around and get back to you...

Edit: Do you need a screen?

Edit2: I Went a bit over due to the case, however it is a very good one

Edit3: Need to rethink mobo

Missed edit :/, the price is a lot more due to the previous one being part of a deal, but the graphics on it were so bad they probably wouldn't run Aero...

If you're never going to boot up a game then spend less on a graphics card.

The mobo has integrated gfx... it might handle aero, if so and he isn't playing games on it then he can dump the gfx card all together

I think the graphics card support Aero, and if it isn't for gaming then integrated will do...

Yes it will. Aero doesn't need much.

Nick's build looks better than the other and also it's much cheaper. Go for it =)
Edit: Ram could be upped to http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149202 - Would there be enough performance increase for it to be worth it, though?

No noticeable difference in normal desktop performance imo.
