Anyone seen any films from Antonioni's alienation trilogy? These include:
L'avventura
L'eclisse
La Notte

I think Antonioni is slowly becoming one of my favourite filmmakers, along with these three I've seen Blowup and I loved them all. La Notte is the most conventional and most accessible out of the trilogy, but it's still fantastic and its themes reminded me of the themes Kubrick hit in Eyes Wide Shut. Looking forward to watching some more Antonioni in these coming weeks..

Isn't Monica Vitti gorgeous?
A scene that stuck with me from L'avventura is when Sandro spills the ink all over the architects work. I loved that scene.

I always thought she looked a little like a frog. It's her lips more than anything.
