X FACTOR hopefuls are to audition in front of the public for the first time, TV Biz can reveal.

Wannabes trying out for the boot camp have always sung just for Simon Cowell and his fellow judges.

But bosses will now invite an audience along to watch, after the success of the audition process in Britain’s Got Talent.

Producers Talkback Thames/Syco have put the call out for members of the public to watch in London next Monday. But the final call still rests with judges Simon, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh.

An insider said: “Everybody loves the audition episodes — and what better way to stir things up than for the hopefuls to have a very public tryout.

“It’s all about evolving the show to make it bigger and better than ever.”

ITV bosses have also announced a new Sunday night live results show.

Sounds good, but the Sunday live show sounds abit crap tbh.

I don't think that would be a great idea because it would let the people use music and sometimes music can mask bad voices or hide good voices

Seems to be copying to mega successful format of BGT which is understandable, although X Factor is yawnish now and we could do without it as loads of singing hopefuls tried out for '..got talent' anyways.

Sunday live show, Doesnt that dancing show do that too?

It will probably take 1/2 weeks for them to give you tickets.

I got no email or phone call.
Maybe they got rid of all the tickets within hours.

I think its a good idea, it shows how well the contestants can cope with an audience.
And also, being a singer myself, I find it much easier to sing with music which will help in this process. :)
