It's not as simple as that. Look how much work goes into it.

I can't wait for 10am to arrive, looking out for Yeovil and Exeter away. Also keeping an eye out for the local derby, Colchester. :(

Stoke's first 6 are : Burnley H, Liverpool A, Birmingham A, Sunderland H, Chelsea H, Bolton A

Wolves
17-06-2009, 10:24 AM
First 7 games (first 2 months):

August
15 West Ham (H)

18 Wigan (A)

22 Man City (A)

29 Hull (H)

September
12 Blackburn (A)

19 Fulham (H)

26 Sunderland (A)

Last 6 games (last 2 months):

April
3 Arsenal (A)

10 Stoke (H)

17 Fulham (A)

24 Blackburn (H)

May
1 Portsmouth (A)

9 Sunderland (H)

Really I could not be happier, our middle part of the season will be hard, but if we can start strongly, and finish strongly, then this could be a great season for Wolves.

EDIT: November, December, and January are going to be our hardest months, we will be playing lower table clubs, and playing one of the top four five/six times.

Browney

We got Bolton. :/

And Wootzeh, I disagree. I think Burnley just had a good season, and Wolves are the typical yo-yo side. A few good signings and Wolves can stay up. Burnley will need half a new squad. I think Wolves performance in the championship showed this. Burnley are aging anyway.

Wolves
17-06-2009, 12:50 PM
True, another plus for Wolves though is that we already have about 6/7 very young and very talented players, add 6/7 experienced/older players (premiership experience) and you have the perfect formula.

Hull and Stoke stayed up last season.

Wolves
17-06-2009, 12:53 PM
Burnley are no Hull/Stoke. :P

Browney
17-06-2009, 12:53 PM
I've always said Stoke would stay up, because you play no frills football. West Brom went down because they tried to be arsenal, playing pretty football. Which is why I think Burnley will go down, they will try to play nice football but in my opinion, like WBA they dont have the quality to get away with it.

And Wolves, you and burnley could always swap.

Wolves
17-06-2009, 12:54 PM
And I haven't a clue what you're on about?

Browney
17-06-2009, 12:59 PM
And I haven't a clue what you're on about?

swap some of Burnleys old fellas for your teenagers.

Isn't their right back going to be the oldest player in the prem?

Wolves
17-06-2009, 01:01 PM
I think so.

And yeah, we need experiences players, but McCarthy is bringing in players that are like 26 years of age from foreign leagues and have no experience of the PL whatsoever, he needs to pull his finger out.

Browney
17-06-2009, 01:10 PM
Fancy Whitehead?

Wolves

You can keep him lad. ;)

Geraint

Got S****horpe home first game and we finish off at Derby. Blackpool is our first away game and this year we've been given close away games for a change which is great. Reading, Bristol City, West Brom on a Tuesday night is much better than Barnsley, Norwich and Burnley.

Mwuahahha, the fixture list has turned out kind for me, when I go on holiday on the 29th December (game on 28th) I get back on the 8th January and we got a game on the 9th (6) - I think that's how it is anyway.

Lucky me, won't miss a game. ;)

How lol? We've only been in the Premiership twice.

Anyway, I'm pleased with our fixture list. Relatively easy start and finish to the season, and I also predicted who we'd get first on a Wolves fan forum. Coulda won 20 quid if I would of put £2 towards the site, but meh couldn't be bothered.

Also signed Marcus Hana-can'tspelltherestofhisname on a free from Reading today.

By the way you go up and straight back down and you've been right in contention for a while. Not like Burnley.

I hear Holland is lovely in July. Also, amsterdam is probably worth a visit. Y'know. Might go out, see abit of the nightlife.
