I dunno about anyone else, but I think the titles for news articles are just plain rubbish. Usually titles are meant to give me an idea of what the following content is about, but Habbox just doesn't do that. I'm looking at the front page and the only decent one is "Summer Savings". The rest are just stupid. "Things can only get beta" - ***? It's not funny.

Why don't you give ideas of what you think they should be then..
and if i saw a title like that it would make me wonder what is it about and i would read it.

It is funny. It's called a PUN. Tabloids use Puns for titles, every single one of them.

I am the person who usually makes these puns up.

Habbox is a fun site and we're not serious and the puns are just fun.

I've never had any complaints and it was even mentioned when we won Best News Fansite at the Habbo Fansite awards (under my management ;))

Thanks for the feedback.

I personally love the puns, and without them habbox would be boring.

Yes I love them to. A year ago or so, I used to never go on habbox news articles but the puns made it look so cool I read them to this day! How can you say they are rubbish?!

I find them amusing, they remind me of how Habbo titles their own articles.

I just find them too cheesey. I prefer something that tells me what the artice is going to be about, but if it pleases everyone else, then I'll have to stick with it.

Another thing - wow, I didn't realise that giving feedback which everyone disagrees with results in negative reputation. Yes, Mrs.McCall. Even if you do say so yourself.

Habbo use 'cheesy' headlines too so it's good, as we're a habbo fansite.

I wrote years for Habbox for almost 2 years and I believe that the titles are what make or break a news report.

In my opinion 'Things can only get BETA' is brilliant :), and you've got to be damn stupid to not know what it means...

People can give negative reputation for anything that they do not agree on. For example if I went 'Man U are ******* awful' people could give me negative rep saying thats your opinion.

That's what -rep is for! If you disagree with me, feel free to return it. :)

This is totally not true, the news makes these titles to grabs you attension and it makes it sound better. The title 'Summer Savings' has allitteration which grabs your attension to so all the titles on news are used for a reason. :)
