I found this great little project that shows just how terrible automatic translations can be.

It takes your text and converts it with Babelfish to several languages, and then changes it back. The results are usually hilarious and worrying!

Example, taken from HabboxForum text:

Original English Text:
Welcome To Habbox Forum / Goodbye
This is where we get to know you and you get to know us. Come on in and say Hi!

Translated to French:
Bienvenue au forum de Habbox/au revoir
C'est où nous finissons par savoir que vous et vous finissez par nous connaître. Avancez dedans et dites salut !

Translated back to English:
Welcome with the forum of Habbox/goodbye It is where we finish by knowing that you and you finish by us knowing. Advance inside and say hello!

Translated to German:
Willkommen mit dem Forum von Habbox/Auf Wiedersehen ist es, wo wir beenden, indem wir wissen, dass Sie und Sie durch uns wissend beenden. Fortschritt nach innen und sagen hallo!

Translated back to English:
With the forum of having box/good-bye it is welcome, where we terminate, by knowing that you and you terminate by us knowing. Progress inward and say hello!

Translated to Italian:
Con la tribuna di avere casella/arrivederci è benvenuto, dove terminiamo, sapendo che voi e voi terminano da noi che sappiamo. Il progresso interno e dice ciao!

Translated back to English:
With the tribune of having case/good bye is welcome, where we finish, knowing that you and you finish from we that we know. The internal progress and says hello!

Translated to Portuguese:
Com a tribuna de ter o caso/adeus é bem-vindo, onde nós terminamos, sabendo que você e você termina dos nós esses nós sabe. O progresso interno e diz olá!!

Translated back to English:
With the tribune to have the case/good bye is welcome, where we finish, knowing that you and you finish them we these we know. The internal progress and says olá!

Translated to Spanish:
Con la tribuna tener el caso/adiós es agradable, donde acabamos, sabiendo que usted y usted los acaba nosotros éstos que sabemos. ¡El progreso interno y dice el olá!

Translated back to English:
With the tribune to have the case/goodbye is pleasant, where we finished, knowing that you and you finish them we these that we know. The internal progress and says the wave!
Post your results in a spoiler, why don't you?!

True, but the message is auto-translation tools are pretty bad in the first place.

in most langages things are not said in proper order and i guessing that it just translates word for word without putting them back in order

They put them in order however it then gets lost in translation when all the context is moved about.
