View Full Version : Remove left behind installs in cpanel?

I have uninstalled installatron and rvsitebuilder from WHM/cpanel using the provided commands in SSH.
However, when uninstalled they have removed the links from WHM, but left them available in cPanel.
What is the directory and file that needs editing to remove these links?
Thanks
EDIT: I have already tried doing a cPanel restart to see if that would remove them, but no luck

you must have missed the docroot steps.
If this fails login via ssh.
cd scripts/
./upcp --force

Just remove it from Feature Manager if you don't want your clients to view it.
or rebuild the sprites - /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_sprites

Done both of them, still left the Installatron text though, just the text.

What skin for x3 are you using? the default one always has problems in removing things. Try a different skin and see what happens.

Its fixed now :) They are just stuck on the "Sundaymorning" theme for some reason.

Just go into the root branding area and allow all the other skins to be used :) + Change the default one if you want :)
